Had dinner and some drinks here. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere very enjoyable! Would definitely recommend. (We even came back for breakfast the next morning)

Average Wetherspoon's but did come across as grubbier than most - hadn't been to Islington for a while and felt this about the area as a whole. Great portions of food with a bit of a strange taste to the actual burger meat - odd. This and surroundings put me off using my glass so stuck to drinking direct from can using a straw. Friendly staff and decent selection of drinks, just needed a bit of a spruce up overall..

On the cheaper side of spoons in London, which was great as we travelled here after another one was full. Busy, but kind people left so we could get a table. Quick service, big standard spoons food and drink

First time in ages I visited this pub had a couple of lagers and the Special Managers Offer Mixed grill for £4.99 it was ok meat a bit dry One Tiny tomato and 1 Tiny mushroom also a few chips but with the lagers it fill the gap Staff fairly friendly some of them just Standing at the bar looking into space Most popular wishing they were at home or somewhere else all in all not bad pub Recommend giving it a try

A quick (well turned out to he somewhat extended) lunch and drink with a friend for a good old chat. You cannot fault the staff at The Angel. All were top notch friendly, chatty and efficient. Quick service for drinks and food. No need to comment on the food. Standard Wetherspoons. Decent and great value.

Great night and never had to worry about the cost. Always affordable and so handy to the Angel Station. Just be careful crossing the road can be a busy spot and loads of mopeds flying around for delivery companies.

·

Its a Wetherspoons, so it's open from breakfast till late at night. The ambience is similar to a busy cafeteria. The ale won't be the freshest or best-kept you've ever tasted, but it'll be OK, and cheap. All human life is here, from pensioners having a morning coffee to young mums with pushchairs, and everything in between. You know what you're going to get ... and that's why they are very popular pubs

I'm now in Weatherspoons. This is a hovel. The manager is unprofessional and she is very very very aggressive and intimidating. Kissing her teeth, waving her fingers in my friends and my face whilst demanding we switch seats with another table. We were comfortable where we were but she said we wouldn't be served anymore because we refused to move. Just rough rough rough. Feel she's going to attack us!Only gave one star because it wouldn't let me post.

Great staff make it what it is, i can buy a burger and beer from anywhere and Wetherspoons generally has quite a simple menu but not every spoon is the same. Refill coffees, yes please, large breakfast of course, though i could do with extra toast and refill breakfast too, buffet style?Mmm 10 rasher fried egg sandwich with a sausage brown envelope, lubricated by human beans.

I am actually sitting here now and I am telling you! Do not eat here 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have ordered eggs benedict that came cold and the eggs were boiled hard. I asked if I can get warm meal and 3min later my same b'fast arrived. When I asked if they just warm it up the waitress said yes, nothing is cooked here. all is microwaved!!!! I actually could not eat it anymore....one star for 1 nice lady who took my plate away.
