Sunday roast - not worth it. Waited 20min just to order drinks, and the place wasn't full. The only available vegetarian option was veggie burger. Dog friendly place, but staff seemed not to care much - asked multiple times for a bowl with water, didn't get it. Felt like going to overpriced wetherspoon.It can be a good place for drinks, food and service was disappointing.

2nd time visiting and all in all the experience was great. A lot busier on a Sunday with lots of families and children and although the food arrived with some delay it was greatly enjoyed as was delicious. Quieter on a weekday evening. Will be gladly going back.

They didn’t honour our indoor reservation and seated us outside - without an apology - where there were no working heaters. We asked 3x for the heaters to be checked and an hour passed before anyone came out, only to confirm that they are out of gas and the heaters do not work.

Quality of food wasn't there for what we paid was relatively pricey.

Been demanding vegetarian/ vegan meals all evening. Misunderstanding with ordering a burger, thought it was great quality with meat texture. Ended up being a beef burger.No apologies for misunderstanding from staff AND actually got charged for the beef burger.Happily paid, considering hospitality industry is so badly affected, but never coming here again.

I ordered the veggie burger and had no complaints. The fries were hot and crispy and the burger was well dressed and flavorful. You can order from the restaurant app or through the server. The decor is cozy and Christmassy at the moment. Not sure if there was a parents event there Sunday I visited, but if that’s the normal crowd there are A LOT of children. Would return!

Our waiter was so laid back he was almost horizontal. Ordered beers and drinks multiple times that never turned up. Had to physically walk up to the staff to get food ordered/ drinks/ the bill/ any form of service. Not what you want for a Sunday roast.

This used to be one of the best pubs in London, but it’s changed. Burnt and over cooked Sunday roasts that arrived cold, and really slow rude service - it was always a 30 minute minimum wait for someone to come by our table again, so we’d try to politely flag someone and they rolled their eyes at us. Sure the burnt, cold food was corrected… but an hour later with plenty of hostility.Want to order a pint? Everything will be a 30 minute wait. We tried to order cappuccinos after eating and they never came. We’ve all worked in service before and tried to be understanding, but it’s hard when servers openly roll their eyes at reasonable requests. We let them know the issues, and that we’ve loved this spot in the past, and said that eye rolling and rudeness is just unnecessary - and got a snide response. If they told us they were sorry and understaffed we would have been understanding. Like other reviewers have said - slow rude service, and cold poorly cooked food.

Chicken Katsu burger looks great on the menu, but stone cold on arrival. Ordered from the app, delivered to table in c15 mins. No way of providing feedback on the app. Not sure what they’re doing.

What a brilliant place to have dinner and relax with friends. The menu is diverse and the atmosphere is just awesome. Everything about the location is superb. Had a beef burger with loaded fries and it was delicious. The staff is quite friendly and professional. The indian (I guess) waitress who served us tonight was super nice and friendly and took care of every thing on our table from drinks to food. Totally recommend!
