The Hanbury Arms in Islington

Known before for its great pizzas, it was refurbished not long ago into more of a gastro pub type of place. The menu is just great, diverse, tasty food with great flavours. It still keeps its local, friendly atmosphere. Great job

Nice and friendly. Prices in conjunction with the area. Visit it again lots of food choice.

One of the best pubs I've been to in London. Lovely bar staffs, great food and great selection of drinks. Good screens too - nice location to watch sports.

Terrible and rude service. Only one person on the bar. Unpredictable opening hours. Miles away from the main road. do not bother with it. Go to the rosemary branch where they are friendly and there is nice warm atmosphere instead.

This place is amazing. Clean, great service, high quality food, nice TVs for the sports. I have friends in the neighborhood and The Hanbury helps make every visit just a bit better.Of special note, the Steak and Guinness Pie (pictured).

Just had a very bad experience at The Hanbury. It is my local and went in for a Sunday evening drink which I thought would be relaxing only to be greeted by the bar staff not with a hello but with a notification that it was last orders at 8pm. This waitress was then aggressive to other patrons about last orders, creating a horrible atmosphere. A real shame - a lovely looking pub, but I will not go back.

A very special pub. I’ve been three times since they re-opened and every single time has been amazing. Great food (brilliant fish tacos), great live music, sports and most importantly, lovely atmosphere and service… one of the coolest pubs in Islington!

What a special place. I know the owner just bought the pub right before COVID and wow they’ve done an amazing job. Excellent location on a quiet street. Top notch drinks and wonderful food - the spicy bean burger was a favourite ! Service was really friendly and bummed we miss the quiz night but keen to come back

Recent new management sees a relaxing Irish pub with a great modern food menu and good selection of drinks. Good old school music.They have their own gin too (which is lush I may add.)Dog friendly.Exceptionally friendly and hard working staff. Love the place.
