Really nice interior, insulated from the busy roads outside, decent pints and friendly bouncers (on a match day)

This is a really cool space with a theatre on the first floor. Great vibe, friendly staff, and a nice beer selection. We went there for a few screenings for a film festival I'll definitely be back to hang out in the pub area.

Lovely pub with a wonderful little theatre upstairs. Pricey though!

I met a friend at this pub for a pre gig pint and ordered a pint of Neck Oil ale and was charged £6.40 for it I thought the bar person had made a mistake. It was quite lively when it was pulled but went flat very quick dye to being too cold.It is a struggle to see how the price of this beer is any less than exorbitant and it quite spoiled my enjoyment too.

The staff didn’t really seem bothered and frankly looked bored. Poured perhaps one of the worst Guinness I’ve ever seen. Then proceeded to spray soda water over the glass as it over poured! Then handed it to me soaking. I actually thought it was a joke until she walked off silently. I had to wipe it down and it was not very good as you might expect. Please teach your staff how to pour Guinness and be approachable.

Friendly, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced and comfortable. A relief to find a relaxed place for a sit down and a drink on a Sunday afternoon when nearly all the other pubs in the area had no space, as a reserved seating for pre-booked gastro meals etc only. Theatre shows on some days of the week. I look forwards to a return visit.

This is a review of the theatre only - not the pub. I have not been a customer of the pub. Went to the unrestricted horror film festival for 2 nights. The films were very good. The theatre is small but not cramped. The gentleman on the box office was lovely. Really warm and welcoming. It was my first time visiting the theatre and he took the time to chat to us and really made us feel at ease - you know who you are, Mr 'Hounslow'. He even remembered us straightaway the second night.Lovely welcoming venue with top quality films. Highly recommend. Please support this venue.

There are a lot of things to like about this place. Can't really comment on the quality of plays because each of those will be specific to the troup (although Wonder in Aliceland was fabulous and if it becomes a bigger thing, which it should you should definitely go see it. Bring hankies.)But the bar is excellent. The wine list is small but everything is available by the glass and the selection is high quality, the beer is crisp and clean so the lines are obviously well maintained. Service is efficient and friendly and the staff are well organised in making sure current covid regulations are maintained in a way that is polite and friendly. Pricing is what you would expect for London, snacks could be better.

If you are into small theater, love intimate, this is perfect for you. With seating for a maximum of 30 or less, you are up close and personal with the stage/audience.Downstairs, a small bar, with an amazing bit of character. From stools to a gorgeous leather chair by the fireplace in a corner, there is something for each soul. Don't feel like sitting inside? Go outside to the tables and benches and make new friends. This place calls to the gin and tonic crowd.
