Cozy pub in Highbury. Good food and a good selection of draft beer as well. The perfect place if you wanna enjoy a match, have a Sunday roast or just a pint with friends!

Cozy atmosphere and good food. Definitely recommend the pies! The staff is so nice, everyone greets you with a smile and you can really see that they take care of the guests. I love this place!

Amazing chicken leek pie. So filling and delicious. Highly recommend! Lots of gravy. Wonderful atmosphere and bar staff.

Strange place, when you enter they swam to you and make sure you are seated rather than just being able to look around. Thought it cost more than average

AVOID - I came here with a group of 10 and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. Firstly the staff insisted hat we have bottomless brunch despite us having booked for normal lunch, and the waitress lied, telling us brunch was the only option. She only allowed us to see the lunch menu when we noticed other diners had different food... After 40 minutes we hadn't even received drinks and it was over 90 mins until we got food - when the food arrived there were many mistakes including entire orders being forgotten, food all coming at different times, and the kitchen ignoring serious allergies. However the worst part was how the staff reacted when we complained - both the manager and the waitress were entirely unapologetic, and gave us only a very paltry discount when we insisted. After a group meal entirely ruined by the shocking service and incompetence, the least the management could have done was apologise and compensate fairly.

The best place in Islington for Sunday Roast. We went as a party of four. We each had different mains but each one thoroughly enjoyed our choices (lamb, aged steak, pork). The Yorkshire pudding and sides were yummy, as well as the sticky toffee pudding. A must try!

Loved the food and the staff were excellent. We really fancied a Pina Colada, which wasn't on the menu and they went above and beyond to sort it out for us! Will be back again soon!

After being released from mandatory quarantine we headed out to grab a bite. Highbury barn looked great so we heading that way. Unfortunately it was 9.15 on a Thursday and they were closing up. So the next evening we went earlier to check it out. Was busy so had high hopes for good potential. We were sat down and hung out for 20 minutes before we were offered the opportunity to order drinks. We told the host we were looking to eat as well. We left after our drinks were done. Nobody came to take our order or check in on us, our plan was to have some drinks and 4 meals. Ended up with one drink, no food, no evening of any kind. Embarrassingly awful. If you're not a regular or local forget this place, don't need or want your money.mask rules don't exist, seems to be a free for all.

Solid Sunday roast. Experience was good and staff are friendly. However probably not the best value for money but food was of decent quality.

I've been planning to visit this pub for some time now and have only just got around to it. It's bright and airy inside with a couple of big screens and a range of seating. There's around a dozen tables outside. There's a full and varied menus ranging from breakfast and brunch staples to salads, burgers a d sharing platters. It was nice to see a really good wine list along with plenty of beers both batch, local and international along with a lengthy spirits list. Had the pleasure of the tennis on one screen and the football on another. Looking forward to my next visit #thehappyepicurean
