Was very good until asked to move from bar by some very unfriendly lady with black hair, the blonde girl serving us was amazing.

Great beer range. Typical London boozer

Came down for match and a Liverpool fan. Absolutely a great experience priorto the hame. 1st class staff and Arsenal fans in the Lamb. Went to The Cally back to hotel afterwards. Horrendous experience. Guess new generation Arsenal fans. Get the Lamb and see traditional fans. Thanks to the staff at the Lamb.

🚇 Highbury & Islington🍺 £4.50 Studio Pilsner❤️ A Holloway Road stalwart that has evolved with the times and kept the local community values at its heart..The Lamb on Holloway Road is a pub I have dived in and out of over the years primarily on football days going to see The Arsenal and also on crawls around Holloway Road and Upper Street. The pub is pretty much opposite Highbury & Islington tube so it’s very easy to get to, that said the majority of punters that frequent here are from the local community. The community hold this pub in such high regard, so much so that the pub was voted the best pub in Islington in September last year by the readers of The Islington Gazette which is for me is a massive accolade, bearing in mind how many amazing boozers there are in the Borough. There are so many positives to report about this pub, may it be the choice of beers which are mainly sourced from local London breweries, the live Irish and folk music they have which echoes the sounds that have been played in this part of London for so many years, but the overwhelming thing you get from this pub is the welcome and hospitality. I remember a few years ago popping in for a pint at the end of a crawl down Upper Street and my phone was dying and the fella behind the bar offered to charge it for me. On my last visit pre Christmas on walking in even though it was busy the staff had a smile on there face and a look that there were glad to see you..The focus here at @lambpubn7 is local beer, local people and local values and if you’re from the wider community or from out of town, come and join in, a warm welcome awaits you..📊 Information correct on visiting 06/11/21

The best pub in North London. Purchase your own food and the staff provide knives and forks if required. A top atmosphere and people with live music on occasions.

·

A proper good, atmospheric pub. Good beers as well. Great for a candlelit date. Defo recommend. Only missed 5 stars as was a bit chilly. Skip those pretentious Upper Street pubs and go here instead. It's a good 'un.
