Outstanding pub, absolutely perfect for a nice quiet sit down from the hustle and bustle of Upper Street, with a great selection of draught beers and spirits. A sprawling menu for the pie fans out there too. And the staff need no mention, as they are all chatty, friendly, welcoming and always ready to listen to you after an exhausting day in London. Highly recommend.

What a nice cosy pub to have a drink and enjoyed one of the best pies in Islington, pleasant surroundings where you can chat to your friends and be heard. I will certainly visit this pub when i am in Islington again, Nice polite staff.

A very cosy yet lively atmosphere with delicious drinks available, I’ll definitely be visiting more regularly! Couldn’t recommend enough.

I was happy to find out about the 2 for 1 cocktail deal on Saturdays and loved the board games they offer. I also liked that the place doesn't get too noisy, even when busy. Had a very nice evening here, I'll come back!

Love what they did with this place ! Its a nice and cosy little bar on the main street, they have two for one cocktails all the time, the food menu is a bit limited but their pies are delicious. There's a super cute secret little garden in the back. The staff is always very nice too, I definitely recommend, a little gem in Islington !

Totally generic bar, drinks selection likewise. Expensive and utterly tasteless. Basically a money-squeezer catering for people who need a drink before catching a train. For anyone with a bit of taste or experience there’s not a chance they’d ever come here, certainly not locals. It’s quite genuinely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a bar. The staff had no idea what they were doing and it was the rudest service I’ve ever experienced. It was obvious they had no actual staff and everyone was a short-term hire to cover the lack of full-time resource. Basically, this is a totally characterless pub with serious problems which is desperately trying to conceal them. I suspect they’ll be out of business or under different ownership within a few months.

Great pub on upper st. Staff were friendly and welcoming, I had a pie which was the best I’ve had in a while. I will defiantly be returning soon. Also the 241 cocktails went down a treat!!

Quiet, homely pub. Good beer, warm decor comfortable seating. Pies looked delicious - bit didn't get a chance to try them.. but will definitely go back for a try.

My favourite local pub, team is great especially Flavia! She always takes extra miles and makes me feel at home, definitely recommended…
