Stopped here last night for a few drinks. I was served by a very attentive barman Tom who made sure my glass was never empty. I was amazed when he told me that it was only his 3rd shift at the Railway, because he seemed very much at home behind the bar.

As of Feb 2022 it has become very hit and miss to get a decent cask ale in The Railway Tavern. On both a Friday & Saturday recently they have had none on offer, which is scandalous given that these are the busiest days. They need better cellar planning.Top family friendly pub. Very amiable and friendly staff, good beer, and nice food. Well worth a visit.

For vegetarian food. Don’t! Ordered mushroom burger - small hard dry bun, three small mushrooms, tiny bit of spinach and cheese, good chips. Ok service when complained. Ordered a falafel salad. Dry no dressing. Not even trying to make good food. Shame - nice looking pub and good pint of Guinness. But the food. No

Great service. Guy bartender was very lovely and helpful, always smiling! Roast could have been a bit better seasoned, but it was good and reasonably priced.

Favourite pub in crouch end. Proper pub feel, friendly staff and decent prices. But lacks decent customers, very overly liberal clientele who become argumentative if they somehow seem to overhear your chat and verbally try to challenge your view. oddly and sadly, I was blamed for rising to someones stupidity. I would look elsewhere for a swift half, and the roast for 15 quid and was tiny.

Really like this pub. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Decent beer too.

Warm, friendly pub with a great range of ales and a very knowledgeable staff. Warning - it's all about the ales and doesn't serve Guiness 😒 The decor is amazing, the staff are brilliant and it had fun quiz nights and is dog friendly! The food is decent... not brilliant. My burger was SO overdone it was just sad. Lovely beer garden though. Worth a stop in.

Nice pub with friendly staff, not far from The Broadway and Clock Tower. The buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce and whitebait was great. Burger was very sizable however the chef may have forgotten to season the patty which was a little disappointing. The chips were great, I wasn't able to finish them so doggy bagged them and were still awesome when reheated 👍🏼Will definitely revisit to check out the beer garden

Good food, but a bit loud. Have to order your food at the bar, but they deliver it to the table. I would eat there again.

Lovely little quirky pub, full of random pictures and memorabilia.Stopped here for a roast dinner on a Sunday as I’m on a mission to find the best Sunday roast in London (check out my reviews for some of the best). I had the roast pork and my friend had the roast half chicken. Both were nice, the roast potatoes were delicious, perfectly crunchy outside and fluffy on the inside. The pork itself was ok, I much prefer a chunk of pork loin with the crackling on the top, but this was sliced pork and a little over cooked, not too much flavour unfortunately. The sticky toffee pudding was ok too. Not very warm and a little dry, but certainly filled a hole. The staff are super friendly and very efficient. The open log fire is a massive bonus. Would come back for this alone.
