Tod's Grill in Islington

We have been here for a couple of times now and we loved the place and food on both visits. Clean, lovely atmosphere, dog friendly and good value for the food (unlike some Italian restaurants close by). Happy staff even when super busy and food on point for all 10 of us (from both of your visits), the pizza is made inside a stone oven which I think is the best on upper street in our opinion. We think Oregano deserves our 5* and would recommend this place, especially for their pizza 😋. It was recommended to us by a client and now we recommend it to our clients, vice versa.

A buzzing intimate venue, with such a great feeling of belonging. Usually I'd pay up to £100 going out for a meal for 2, but at Oregano, I pay less than half of that, and for food and drink more than twice the quality of other nearby restaurants... a true hidden gem!

Stef's is a fantastic spot for a great bottomless brunch! One of those places where you can eat a lot (for real!) and have bottles of prosecco left on your table. When I went with my buddies, the staff was quite accommodating and friendly. Everything was well worth the money, and we were pleased to remain a bit longer than the allotted 1,5 hours to enjoy it a bit more. The vibe was just right and we'll go for another one without a doubt! :).....ah they do a great cocktail with limoncello 😍

The food is delicious and the prices are very affordable. Me and two friends were here, we had two starters, three main course, three desserts, a bottle of wine and an orange juice. Total was £119 and service charge was included. I'm definitely coming back here.

We love the food here and keep returning. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ve tried a few of the pastas and starters and they are all delicious, it just makes us excited to go back. The restaurant itself is really nice to sit in as well as some seating on the street which has a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back

Stef's is a friendly place. All of the staff were personable, kind, and funny. It makes you feel that you are a part of a much smaller community, rather than in central London.The food - pasta in our case - was exceptional. We went with the Tagliatelle alla Puccini and the Paccheri alla Calabrese, and they were two of the best pastas we have ever had (including our trips to Italy).As a bonus we also sat at a table outside which has a direct view of the kitchen / pizza oven. It was interesting to watch the pizzas be made.

Food was okay. The risotto was undercooked, and chewy,, the shrimp was not fresh(the shells were black) calamari was overcooked. Seasoning was good. Maybe try the pizza?

The food is very tasty and I would definitely recommend most of the dishes. Very generous portions. Sadly, my friends and I were disappointed with the service; lack of it.
