Topolski Bar and Cafe in Islington

I hosted a private birthday party in Arch 1 - The team were so so helpful throughout and the venue was perfect. They helped me create my perfect party that was bespoke to me. Can't recommend highly enough!

I don't usually write reviews but this one is worth mentioning. Don't go on weekends. We booked a table for a birthday party on Saturday, it took us 20 min to order Beers at the bar as the place is obviously under staffed and probably 90% of the staff still under training. Around 8.30pm we asked for a food menu. This was provided to us, but after only 5 minutes, when we proceeded to order, the waitress communicated the kitchen was closed. Since it was a birthday celebration and in the hope of saving the night, we then asked if we could bring food from outside, but the answer was a straight no. At that point we just left to find somewhere else to eat and hopefully a drink which didn't require standing at bar for 20 minutes. Would not recommend.

Jules is the best bartender they have. Stopped to talk to me and my friend and made us feel so welcome. She made our visit.

I was served by Veronica - lovely and attentive bartender! She was so friendly and informative about the food and drinks menu... My partner and I had a great time! I will definitely recommend friends/family to pop in for a drink! 5 plus star service!

Lovely bar next to Waterloo. Drinks are well made with a decent selection, use the right glasses. Happy hour is a bit short at just 5-6 so it feels a bit pricey outside that hour although you can for a pint for £5 (2 during happy hour)

Hosted a private event on Friday and they did a great job! Staff worked though the extensive cocktail orders quickly (I recommend the maple old fashioned) and they were polite and helpful. I would happily host there again.

Bit too dark, bit too loud. Had a table for 20 which could sit ten people at best. I did arrive at the week before Christmas though, so perhaps not as bad outside the festive period. Not a very large selection of beers either, the one tap with Camden pale ale had run out when I was there, which was a shame.

I like this space. For a Friday night after work drink it's surprisingly spacious. Happy hour offers a good selection of delicious cocktails. I only wish table service was available seeing as the bar staff are so quick to come to your table to remove empty glasses

Nice little bar close to the river and station. Not bad for a date bar, but also good for groups. Have a happy hour from 5-6
