The food is amazing, I’d suggest go and pick whatever, it will taste wonderful. Prices are very good (except desserts).Service was nice, interior is ok.It you prefer a peaceful environment go for the basement table.

The good is great, fantastic even. This place is so close to greatness if they had a little bit more love present. Just didn't find the warmness one normally holds in a Italian restaurant like this. It's missing those small flourishes one expects from a great Italian dining experience.

Excellent standard of cooking, lovely cosy atmosphere and a great menu selection. Service not quite sharp enough for the standard of food and prices being charged (missing items, having to request things a couple of times, waiting to order etc). Not the end of the world but this needs to improve in order to be up to the level of its peers. Will still return and recommend

I live close to Trullo and I was always curious to go as I've heard a lot about it so finally I managed to get a reservation for a Monday evening. The place was completely full, no tables available which made me think the food must be very good.We ordered two primi and one secondo and we left hungrier than before. The portion size is very small and the tortellini arrived as they were eaten by somebody else before. We asked the waiter why was that and he said all the primi are served as starter size (which is not mentioned in the menu) and that primi is not a main course.I am italian, and I left the place questioning the knowledge of my italian cuisine 😅.The duck was very tasty and the staff friendly and welcoming.Overall, a nice dinner but I wouldn't advice it to any of my italian friends.

We had a great evening. The setting of the restaurant is very nice and intimate both on the lower ground than in the main floor. The food and wine is exceptional quality. Service and staff were attentive and friendly. We will come back!

Absolutely amazing place! Had such a great time there, staff was really friendly and helpful, the environment was intimate and homely and a little rustic, but most importantly the food was great! Pasta was really fresh, monkfish carpaccio was spectacular! In general I’m more inclined towards the British side of this Italian-British fusion, but overall I had an amazing experience and would definitely come again. Keep it up!! 💪🏻

Overall I had a fantastic experience at Trullo. My sister and I didn’t have a booking on Saturday night and thought we would try our luck - we were generously squeezed in. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, more polite or more accommodating. We had the chicken liver pasta followed by a chocolate tart / cherry bakewell (the only minor criticism is that the pastry was slightly burned). But good quality fresh ingredients cooked with care.Good wine list and with the option for a smaller carafe as well as by the bottle. We finished with off-menu espresso martinis.Lovely atmosphere and decor, we didn’t feel rushed through our meal and were well looked after. It’s shot up to one of our favourite Islington haunts, we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is really small and cute, its decorated with a nice wood interior and the friendly staff means it has an excellent vibe. The food had a slightly higher price tag than expected but was well portioned, so you didn't leave feeling over full. With a good selection wine, drinks and cocktails it's clear that a lot off thought goes in to the everything on offer. The flavours are balanced and compliment each other very well. The ingredients taste like they are high quality. All in all, a highly recommended and great choice if you're looking for a nice date night or local gem to eat.

Another smashing meal here. These guys never miss, it’s all on point - food, service, drinks and atmosphere.Always come away satisfied and plotting our next visit.Recommend that your try to pick at least one thing from every part of the menu. And often the simplest or more ‘common’ sounding things can be the best. Chicken liver Bruschetta, Ricotta and Sage ravioli, Pannacotta.Oh, and they can cook one hell of a steak.

One of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had. Burrata, beef shin ragu and ricotta pasta were epic. Rounded off by a delicious lemon tart. Without doubt we will be coming back.
