We got the King Prawn noodles, the Dumpling in chilli oil, sweet and sour chicken and rice. It was amazingly delicious and we would recommend this restaurant. The service was fantastic as they checked if we were okay and filled our glasses of water without us even asking! 10/10

TLDR, Not all dishes meet my expectation, but I give it 5 stars mainly because of their dry-wok and some other dishes which are really impress me.Had ordered their dry-wok numerous times. Everything has been sizzled to spicy perfection. Mouth might go numb from the heatwave of peppercorn, but I just cant help myself to indulge in the 2nd round.5 stars dishes: Their Sweet & Sour Pork Tenderloin, & Sliced beef lungs and Ox tongue in Chilli Sauce also impress me.4 stars: all you can eat hot pot, reasonable priced and good range of selection.Others: not impress, some even not meet my expectation. All in all, it is worth to try if you know what you want to eat.

I had an early supper at the Taste of China this evening and it was absolutely delicious. The green beans were especially tasty as were the jiaozi, egg fried rice and the beef with potatoes. The service was also polite, efficient, and the atmosphere was delightful. I'll be back!

The worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. The waiter asked us to clean up the table by ourselves, asked us to withdraw cash nearby to pay, asked us to close the door that was opened by others. What the worst customer service! even on New Year’s Day!If you already read such many comments that complain about their service here and still insist to eat there... I wish you never meet that bad manners waiter.About the taste, as a Chinese, I responsibly say that it is very general and unorthodox. In the years of living here, this is the most rubbish Chinese restaurant I have ever seen.

This review is solely for our delivery order experience. The restaurant failed to produce our meal in time for the driver (Hungry Panda), so the driver did another route then came back. At that point, the restaurant claim they gave another driver our meal but refused to produce another meal. We waited a total of 3 hours with nothing to show for it but hungry stomachs at 11pm. Absolutely disgusted by this incompetence and lack of customer sympathy. We will never order (or visit) this restaurant again.

I love Chinese food in general so I was v disappointed by this place; the food was generally ok however the service was terrible; the food came first, but without the rice; by the time the rice came (and it took some time and effort from us to ask the waiter if the rice is ready) everything was cold; the waiter was v abrupt, basically hassling us to buy the more expensive rice (i.e. egg fried rice which was £5.6 as opposed to boiled rice which was £2.8); the AC was turned on on v low temperature despite the fact that there are 4 degrees Celsius; we had to sit with our coats on; terrible!

The best hotpot in London. All you can eat hot pot at £23.8pp. There were so many varieties you can choose from including crab and prawns. All ingredients are super fresh; staff welcoming; interior is clean and well furnished. Highly recommend ;)

Many choices! Delicious beef and fresh fish! Great service! I saw positive feedbacks on the Chinese social media so I came to this restaurant. I like it very much. I will come here next time with friends.

We ordered their takeaway before and have always been pleased with the quality and taste (we love their dry-wok 干锅 dishes), but it was our first time to eat in the restaurant yesterday. Everything tasted very fresh, full of flavour yet not too salty. We had "Mouth-watering chicken 口水鸡", my personal favourite of the night; "Fish-fragrant aubergine 鱼香茄子", great balance of flavours; "Morning glory with garlic 蒜蓉空心菜", which I highly recommend, and"Spicy frog legs 香辣馋嘴蛙", which was nice although I'm not sure that the very many aubergine pieces worked particularly well in this dish...But, the best of all was how lovely the staff were - so warm, friendly and attentive, very kind people and very pleasant, we will certainly go there again. So happy to have such a good Chinese restaurant in Islington, we highly recommend it.

In the UK we have a wide variety of Chinese restaurants and like many other countries, we too have a chinatown sitting in the heart of London. But this restaurant was a hidden gem in Angel, Islington.I visited a restaurant called Taste of China and there's only 2 that I know of in London and it was the first restaurant which has introduced me to a lot of amazing Chinese cuisine. One of the dishes I ordered was a food item called 'Spicy Grilled Fish In Chilli Oil'. Now this was a shocking revelation for me as I didn't even know how to eat it when it arrived but it looked so amazing. As I bit into it. I could taste the crunch and the juices of the fish coming out and with the rice it created a nice balance of flavour instead of one part of the ingredients overpowering the other. This is also a dish I recommend to everyone. For me personally it's not very spicy but if you have a low tolerance of spicy food then I don't recommend it for you as it could hurt.9/10
