This place is without a doubt one of the best places I know, the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, the food is amazing, and the customer service is astonishing! I am amazed by how well this place delivers on all the aspects of hospitality and food, I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting some great food and a beer, with friends or alone! As for the pricing, we paid 40 pounds for 3 main courses, drinks, and starters! So overall pricing is not too bad! Definitely a must-visit if you are in the area!

The pub has a wonderful ambiance to it and a great neighbourhood feel to it. On match days, the pub can get very busy when Arsenal play at home..This place is a proper Irish pub and all the hallmarks are there. The Irish community frequent here, there were a bunch of lads in who were watching Ireland v Azerbaijan World Cup qualifier which Ireland won 3 - 0 to everyones delight. The Guinness was being regularly lined up on the bar and settling for that final top up which has happened in this pub for over 100 years. The Guvnor was spending time and engaging with punters and getting involved with the regulars on the social side of the bar, this is great to see as alot of Guvnor’s have to stay behind the ramp as budgets are tight. The decor here is traditional with lots of wood panelling and a splash of green on the walls. The walls are adorned with a mix of sports and Irish memorabilia, on one wall there is a bears head with a cap with “Slane” on it which is my Mums place of birth. This is a one bar pub with plenty of seating in and around the bar, there is also a small area at the back and a few benches out the front for those warmer days. My pint was decent and for under a fiver was good value. This boozer also does a roaring trade on food, the Thai kitchen has lots of rave reviews..St Patricks day is a day to celebrate all things Irish and an incentive to visit an Irish pub. I can’t recommend this pub highly enough and there are 364 other days in the year that you should visit this excellent Irish boozer..📊 Information correct on visiting 09/10/21

Have come to this pub for years and is always the go to pub before an Arsenal match!We’ve had the Thai food mid week before, which is always amazing, but yesterday was the first time having the roast. Can honestly say it did not disappoint!! Cannot fault a single item on the plate, everything was delicious! Highly recommend.

Favorite local in the hood. The owner Nick (Mick?) is often a hoot. And there are usually lots of friendly doggies.Sunday roast was surprisingly decent (£15 for the chicken) - though charging £1.50 for gravy is shocking.Weekday Thai is pretty amazing & affordable (done by a lovely female Thai chef/mum).

Disorganised booking system and lethargic staff spoiled our Sunday evening. Frankly amazed this place has such good reviews.We were only in the place for about 30 minutes but several times customers, including us, were told to move as their tables were booked despite no indication of this written down. Dogs brought in by walk in guests were treated as more worthy of comfortable booth seating than those who booked ahead of time.Arriving earlier than our booked slot meant I was fine waiting at a draughty and tiny table next to the toilets temporarily, but after asking several times it was clear no other table was forthcoming. To top it off, the table we saw earmarked for our party was given away without notice.The “best” part was booking a table specifically for food, but no member of staff felt compelled to mention the kitchen had run out of roasts (most of Sunday’s menu). We spent time and money in there under the illusion we’d be offered half decent seating and a roast, but it eventually became clear we were to be offered neither.Upon being told we’d be leaving, a half baked apology was offered but nothing else. Probably because it was busy and they’d make up for our lack of custom, not a nice way to be treated.Annoyed we gave them business by buying drinks to be honest.Never again.

Without doubt my favourite pub in town. Always the friendliest welcome and the best Guinness you’ll find this side of the Irish Sea!They serve Thai food during the week and it’s bloomin banging!I’d definitely recommend the Sunday roast too, the most delicious Yorkshire puds and gravy!

My favourite pub in the neighbourhood (and possibly all of London). The Thai food during the week is amazing (try the roast duck curry!), more like what you would expect at a good Thai restaurant instead of your local pub. The atmosphere is cosy but buzzing, nice mix of people, great music. The bar staff are super nice as well. We had booked a table for last night (as we know that Thursday nights are busy here) and had to move to another table half way through our delicious Thai curry due to a bookings mix up. The staff were so apologetic and gave us a discount on our next round of drinks - although we probably caused the confusion in the first place by sitting down at the wrong table. Top notch service and a local we feel truly welcome at (and so does our dog who loves the low lighting and has the best naps here).

Loved the place for the most part. Didn’t enjoy the speed of bartenders clearing drinks. Tonight’s remake: “Are you finished with these three? They’ve been here for quite awhile.” ... so not the best service. But good drinks on tap and generally a nice place.
