Yak & Yeti in Islington

My first time at an Indian restaurant and you know what they say about first impressions?It was amazing. Good food, ambience is lovely10/10

Lovely food. Waiter seemed to struggle a bit with English and got the order wrong but was quickly rectified.

Fantastic restaurant. Went here on a random visit. The Tibetan Chicken Momo was great. Was very pleased with the Chicken Tikka Masala, Peshwari Naan and Coconut rice. The service was good and the restaurant decor was nice.

Every single dish we ordered was bursting with flavour and the portions were huge. Staff were so friendly and attentive, and everything came really quickly. My new favourite place to get a curry in Finsbury Park.

Third visit to this place. Fantastic fresh tasting traditional dishes. One of the best Asian restaurants in London!

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and extremely well seasoned! Good friendly service, plenty of vegan options, nice atmosphere, no too loud music. I would love to give full five stars but I asked my dishes without potatoes and that was agreed by the waiter but then both of my dishes had quite plenty of potatoes.However, wonderful place! Looking forward to visit again.

If I could only recommend one place in London, this would be it. We found our way to Yak n Yeti almost by accident - it was raining cats and dogs outside, we were just in the neighbourhood, looking for a warning midday meal. I am not exaggerating when I say that the chicken dish (Timur Piro chicken) was the best seasoned poultry dish I've *EVER* had and this actually goes for their saffron rice, too.My partner told me that his naan bread and nepalese chicken main was also nothing short of delicious, which comes as no surprise, really.Also, I should mention that their masala tea is masterfully light and perfectly seasoned - while some other places would sweeten their teas to the point of no return, they actually held back on the sugar, which was greatly appreciated.I can honestly say that I simply cannot wait to visit the Yak N Yeti again.

Nice food but however 2 star gone down as the driver came to early as i have requested a later delivery. He phoned me saying theres no one answering the intercom but when i got home my dad said he answerd but he told them to come down. As everyone is aware theres a corona pandemic and thats the only reason i didnt want my dad to go down but anyway I was basically 1 bus stop away and told him to give me 2 mins and ill get it off him but he kept on refusing so i called my dad and he went down to collect but as i got there he was just putting his helmet on. Obviously he cant come exactly on time thats why i came 10-15 befor the delivery time all he had to do was wait 2mins i was a new customer but i wont be ordering again because of the reaction of the driver.

Nice place, felt a bit different from a standard curry house, friendly staff, reasonable prices, nice ambience. Momos were nice , beer very different, wall decoration Nepalese not indian. This was different
