The brunch menu was a disappointment overall.- The pancakes were the worst I have ever had, it was almost like a big biscuit in the form of bread.- The eggs weren’t the best either. The biggest turn off is that they wash the plates and cups together in the dishwasher so every cup had the smell of rotten eggs, we changed cups 3x and they all had the same smell. We ended up getting bottled drinks.A huge bill for a very disappointing experience.

Service is prompt and friendly. It has a bit of a school canteen feel with a touch of 90s inspired French bistro. However they really need to improve their coffees as the flat white I ordered it’s not worth the £4.30 price tag

Beautiful food although it arrived cold and tasteless. Aesthetics over taste

Terrible service, staff rude and abrupt, I understand you are exceptionally busy, but when a cafe charges £18.95 for a smoked salmon bagel and 12.5% service charge....I expect the best.....seated for 20 mins after queuing and not one even took our order. Menus were thrown on the table. Will not be returning - Cafe with self-importance (I saw you coming).

Was reused a table for 2 for coffee and cakes at 4:10 PM and told its lunch service. This type of policy is anti social ,not neighbourly and greedy.202 management think AGAIN.

202 is really Brunch Central, and has managed, along with its other sceney peers on Westborne Grove, to occupy a legitimate place in people’s lives on Sunday, dethroning any remnant of religious service. After a healthy 20min average wait time (cool places in Notting Hill are always walk-ins) you’re cheerfully escorted to your table in a large buzzing room, with high ceilings and diners squished together. It feels right to be brunching there. On the tables all around, the lively conversations jump from the weekend debrief, to the gossip girl scheming, to the business planning, or the long due “life catch-up”. The place is alive and exudes energy. The brunch is ok. To be fair, I had the “healthy cooked breakfast”, which felt… well healthy. The avocado was cut rather than mashed, and that just doesn’t sit well with me in general. Nothing bad really, but nothing extraordinary either in this very basic avocado and egg toast. What is extraordinary on the other hand, is the crispy and salty “Frites” dish (aka their skinny fries). So elegant, so crunchy, so warm and tasty, that it makes you want to just have three or four servings as a meal.

Second time I come, the quality of the food is good but the portion is too small. healthy breakfast with one and half very thin slice of bread almost nothing bit disappointed

Great ambience, friendly staff, great tasting food... Enjoyed my experience 😊. The egg Benedict was utterly delicious!

Nice experience in 202, we had an afternoon break with friends to have a coffee and some cakes. The food quality is good and the coffee is tasty. Good service and location!

Totally disappointed in this place. Firstly, they are extremely disorganised and/or understaffed. After we were seated we did not have anyone come and take our order for 40 minutes, we did not even know who our server was. The menu reads fine, as any brunch place. Unfortunately, the quality of food leaves you wanting more. I had french toast and this was very removed from a great, even a good, French toast. The bread in the middle was completely dry. French toast needs to be completely soaked through and have that souffle taste once good. This French toast was just a dry piece of toast which was lightly fried on the side.No one had come to our table to check in on us throughout the entire meal and it took us another 40 minutes to get someone to come to the table to take payment. Overall, the food is simply not worth all the wait and we will not be back.
