Afternoon Tea in The Sitting Room of The Capital Hotel in Kensington and Chelsea

I was going to stay at it for couple nights, however , I did cancel my booking because my family was not comfortable , the room is not what I expected, the elevator is small and old, we could barely enter it . I admit that the hotel manager and her assistants are so kind and cooperative.

Terrible room service is awful! Room service closes at 10:30, am barely any food on the menu. Breakfast is only till 10AM. Hello?!? We are in the main spots in London, people wanna sleep in and still be able to get Breakfast! Terrible House Cleaning. Came into my room the day I arrived to dirty stains on mymattress! No snacks in the hotel room, Mini fridge is completely empty. furniture has dusty coming off it.

Comfy rooms, wonderful and attentive staff and a great location with close access to shopping (Harrods and Harvey Nichols) and Hyde Park and Kensington Palace and gardens.

Unfortunately they cancelled my booking the day before because they could not accommodate vegetarian. Even though I had put on my booking a month before and I followed up with an email direct with them over a week ago. Terrible customer service

Great hotel. All the staff, especially the deputy manageress, Laraina. She is a diamond. She was a pleasure to meet, even saying hello to me on the street near Harrods. She went out of her way to help and welcome my family, of which was visiting me. Clive and all of the other staff are fantastic.I always use the hotel, having used the mandarin Oriental. But the staff are fantastic.You can't go wrong with the capital. Its the friendliest hotel in London by far.Many thanks to the staff and especially Laraina.The hotel having a great location and is spotlessly clean have a great restaurant which is world class.

Just returned from a fantastic over night stay here. Lorrena and Graham were nothing short of fabulous on our arrival, attentive and made as feel so welcomed as we walked through the door.We received a free upgrade and the room was spotless. Had a fabulous evening because of the location, everything within walking distance.Wouldn’t hesitate coming back when we are next in town.Top marks all around

Unfortunately my experience was unpleasantIt supposed to be a 5 star hotel but this is not what we experienced. First day we arrive the coffee machine didn’t work and the bathroom had an issue and as we are quarantine so we need the room to have all the servicesAdding to that,Then, when we order a coffee or a tea they leave it at the door without a bag or a plate or trayAdding to that, 5 days without changing any sheets and no vacuumat all and even the trash they didnt provide plastic bags to remove I have to ask them to provide plastic bags.This shouldn’t be acceptable at all.Finally when we want to make check out ,the front desk asked me to pay for the water that they brought to my room during the 5 days . ولكم تقييم الفندق من الصور

Had a lovely afternoon tea here, had the whole place to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was top notch, couldn’t fault it. Had plenty of time to enjoy the food, the views and the lovely decor. Aliyah was our host, and she did a fantastic job in setting up each part of the tea, helping us with refills, describing what we were about to eat and genuinely coming across caring and wanting us to have a great time. The food was excellent too, especially the scones! Highly recommend!

Centrally located behind Harold's. Lovely family run hotel. Excellent Professional staff, very welcoming & friendly. 30 seconds walk to a major taxis rank. Familiar faces each time we come.
