Azteca Latin Lounge in Kensington and Chelsea

Small restaurant renowned for its cocktails, all at £12. Food is more texmex than Mexican, fajitas very average and too much sauce on the lukewarm meat. Tortillas were fresh and tacos not too heavy. Crammed tables, outdated decor, it could be ok for families rather than couples on a date. Average prices, considering the area.

Absolutely love this place, where I dined solo earlier this week. Excellent drinks (Michelada, Margaritas, etc.) and food (more Tex-Mex than Mexican) and thoroughly charming staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing Mezcal choice! Good company, good vibes, great fresh tacos! Asked the barman for his tequila and mezcals of choice and he gave us a nice selection to choose from. Will go again next time I end up in London and around Chelsea/Victoria.

We have been coming to Azteca for many years but on this occassion the normal management/staff were not there. We arrived and asked what table would you like, selected the table, ordered a bottle of Malbec, waited and was told they only had Merlot but did not know the price but they agreed to sell at the Malbec price, no idea if this was a fair price or not.During the wait my wife went to the toilet and was shocked to find that it absolutely stunk from lack of cleaning which we then realised you could actually smell the toilets in the bar. She mentioned this to the nice waitress and she did pass onto the management and said they will look into it. Then we were asked to move from our 2 seater table as other guests that they knew had arrived - we declined.Finally our bill was double what it should of been but unfortunately I paid by contactless, realised that they over charged and had to argue on how to refund and then charge the right amount...they even had the cheek to try and charge for service.We eat out a lot, hence 143,000 views on Google and our reviews are always fair but unfortunately this was a memorable night for the wrong reasons. Never again!

Used to go there all the times for years until few of us started getting nasty reaction when we were drinking there. Also been over charged quite a few times when opened tab. Shame! As the food is really good.

Came here on Tuesday what was meant to be a few drinks and dinner but ended up being mostly drinks! The staff were very friendly and came over regularly to check if we needed anything else. The atomsphere was great and loved the decor! Really enjoyed the cocktails too. Would reccomend and thank you for having us

Nothing special just a mediocre Mexican restaurant with nice environment.

Coming from California, Azteca was a refreshing and nostalgic experience to dining out eating Mexican cuisine. A lovely atmosphere with an amazing selection of tequila cocktails. I reccomend the habenero margharita if you are into a drink with a spicy kick! 🌶🍸Azteca may look small when you first arrive, but the establishment is fitted with two bars, both upstairs and downstairs. Both the floor above and below are detailed with Mexican and Aztec decor.Overall, this is a great place to grab a drink after a long day at work as well as a fun place to book for a night out with friends or a fun first date.

The margaritas were not disappointing!! Tacos were really delicious too. The sauce they come with was a nice spicy addition 🌮🌮🌮

Cosy Mexican restaurant and bar with a good selection of cocktails and drinks. Food was very tasty!
