Nice spot for Brunch! The decor of the restaurant was a highlight and the wood-burning fireplaces gave it a very cozy vibe. Food was good, would recommend the Beetroot Hummus and the Baked Croissant. We also had the Smoked Salmon plate and Banana Bread.

·

The food was very good and the drinks too. However, we had booked for 11/12 people and got a table that could sit more than 8 in the middle of a very busy part of the restaurant. The music was very nice, too.

·

We catered for 1st birthday party in function room upstairs providing sweet cart, downstairs provided for dining cosy surroundings friendly staff varied menu.

Good spot for brunch - highly recommend the stracciatella, the beetroot hummus and the baked croissant with truffle (the Turkey schnitzel is avoidable). Their hot chocolate is excellent! Love the decor of the place.

One of the nicest little cosy restaurants I've ever been to! The food was exquisite! The atmosphere was divine, there was an in-house DJ providing perfect background music from jazz to naugties r&b to the King of Pop himself, MJ! The restaurant is well staffed and they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd definitely re-visit and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute night out with some delicious food and cocktails!!

If you want a unique venue to go for brunch, then Beach Blanket Babylon definitely ticks the box. It is a beautiful georgian mansion house with opulent Baroque style decor. We really did enjoy the vibe and atmosphere. The cocktails taste amazing and are so colourful. I tried several and really could not pick a favourite. The brunch menu itself is a bit limited in choice, however we did enjoy the flavours in most of the dishes. The staff are very friendly, however there was a mix up with a couple of the dishes we ordered (they did offer to rectify). We got a sneak peak of the upstairs function rooms and the cave-like rooms downstairs too and I will definitely keep this in mind in the future when planning events.Overall a pleasant experience.

I should’ve trusted the bad reviews about the manager being rude and disrespectful. I went ahead and booked a table for two. Upon arrival, all was perfect, the ambience was superb, our waiter was exceptional, and the lady serving us drinks was excellent. The food here is exceptional. However, once we ordered our dessert, another waiter told us that the manager had asked us to leave the table. The shock was an understatement, and we asked her why. She said that they needed our table back and people were waiting, and she told us she disagreed with what she’d been asked to tell us, but she had to.We then asked her if we could finish our desert then leave. She went and came back then told us the manager had given us 20min to finish up. We couldn’t blame her….. I’ll note, we had a starter, main course and dessert and two glasses of wine each….We decided to question further to understand why this happened. We learned that a manager is very rude and disrespectful to customers, and the management does not pay their employees the service charge. DO NOT PAY THE SERVICE CHARGE! Shame on you, Beach Blanket, for keeping the service charge to yourselves.I will never recommend or come back to this restaurant until they fix the management.Overall, thank you to all the hard-working waiters, waitresses and chefs.

Unexpected place at Notting Hill. Lovely food and unique atmosphere. Staff are nice and very friendly. Good value for money in London.

We really enjoyed the food. Don’t order the salmon tartare it’s so bland. The monkfish was amazing. Service was good when we actually had it but we had to wait a long time for everything. DJ was fun and added something to the dinner.

Slightly disappointed after trying this place having expected a lot more from all of the hype. The interior is cosy however feels a bit chaotic. Food was beautifully presented, however it lacked flavour. Staff are friendly but there did not seem to be one waiter allocated to the table, and was very much a case of flagging down waiters as and when we wanted to order. We were told we had the table for 2 hours so were rushed to order, then were never asked to leave and able to stay at the table until closing. All felt very disorganised and with some attention to detail this could really be a great spot, but at the moment is missing the mark and I probably wouldn’t come back.
