Bistrot Eleven in Kensington and Chelsea

The penultimate time I visited the place was a few years ago, when its staff was focused on excelent service; now, not any more.. The service was quite awful from every member of staff we interacted with. The food was also basic compared to how I remember it. Not worth it when there are so many nice places to choose from..

We had an amazing Sunday lunch at PJ’s, I absolutely recommend everything on the menu. The service is attentive, smooth and fast, and everyone that works there is friendly and knowledgeable. I cannot wait to go back!

Very nice welcome, good service good food. Fish and chips very good. Lamb rack, were chops not rack, however the meat was tasty and tender... HOWEVER, spoilt by a nasty packet gloppy sauce

Visited yesterday and quite unbelievable how bad the service was . Our waitress was just not interested and did not listen to drink or food orders when given .... I got the wrong Drink ..my whiskey became Gin .... My friends Vodka became Gin ... His tonic was flat , it was then changed to slimline tonic .. then after a fuss they bought regular tonic .. my guests drink then sat on bar for ages whilst staff chatted amongst themselves until he demanded it: as it was right there .... the place was not busy at all however it took 1/2 to order and receive 2 drinks.The Meal was ok but my Broccoli arrived charred/ burnt underneath... such a shame as it could have been really nice however I cannot recommend this place as it is clear that customers are a distraction for the staff that just want to socialize at work

So I have to go again to take pictures of the food. What can I tell you is that it was amazing. Whether it’s the beetroot cured salmon, the steak tartare, the ribeye, the chargrilled cauliflower. Everything is making. If you are looking for a great pub for a Sunday afternoon. I will recommend this one

PJ’s has been a staple on the Fulham Road since 1990 and serves brasserie food in a very comfortable, wooden-walled room with a central bar featuring a suspended wooden vintage aeroplane propeller.It’s the sort of place you cold just pop into for a quiet glass of something at the bar and linger for an hour or two or have a full on 3 course meal with all the trimmings.We reserved a corner table, in person, in advance but when we arrived it had already been taken, much to our disappointment, but the staff were apologetic about this admin error, and we were soon relaxing in the very comfortable “Old English” atmosphere.Nowadays I am used to asking for burgers to be cooked medium-rare only to be told that only well done is served. It may be that the meat is originally frozen or not minced on the premises but two of us asked for the duck breast to be cooked pink (after all, why wouldn’t we?) but were told the duck was only served well done.So we all opted for the Rack of Lamb asking (nay, pleading) that it at least would be served pink.There was some hesitation, but the order went down to the kitchen as requested.The lamb was very tasty - served with dauphinoise potatoes, tenderstem broccoli (one solitary stick only though) and red onion confit but nowhere near pink.We quaffed an excellent bottle of Sixty Clicks’ Shiraz Mataro Victoria wine (£29) and for dessert we had the Salted Caramel Crème Brulee and very nice ice cream.The ice cream was a nice surprise as I so often dine in restaurants at both ends of the price spectrum where I am met with a choice of chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. Here we had Pistachio, Caramel and Blood Orange flavours. A treat.The menu at PJ’s is very extensive (the table next to ours indulged in an enormous tray of delicious looking oysters) and I am sure most items on the menu will do you proud, but the whole “no pink” thing and the lack of attention to booking requests left a hint of “what could have been”.

An amazing remembrance of the past. I visited PJ's on its opening night in 1990 and was a regular (5 times a week at least) for many, many years. It was nice to occupy my place at the right hand end of the bar, where I used to meet up with other regulars. Very happy time(s)

Absolute gem in Chelsea area!Received a warm welcome by manager Alberto, who helped us to choose best table for our meeting. We decided to share few of the starters and mains as it was our first visit.Our waitress Ludovica was just on point, considering all of our requests and allergies.Food is amazing! We had the best Shakshuka ever! Compliments to the Chef!Friendly bartender Arthur approached our table as well to check if all goes good And we enjoy our time & drinks 😊Thank you for having us PJ’s team! Absolutely awesome, very nice staff and very attentive! Food was okay, Ambiente very traditional but I would definitely go back. It's a very nice place ♥️

We went to PJ's for brunch and we really liked it. We appreciated the variety in the menu, the service, the quality of the food and the presentation. The ambience has a retro feeling to it that makes it particularly interesting.
