Cafe Phillies in Kensington and Chelsea

The Ratatouille Risotto was undercooked. The flavor was ok but the rice was still hard.

Great little place, bit more expensive, but then it is just next to high street Kensington. Great food, had breakfast, the black pudding was a bit bland but everything else was great, especially the shakshuka style beans. Great coffee, friendly service. Get there early as it fills up quickly.

Best of all, no doubt, the people who take care of you and the waiters. Really nice people, and when you have this in a restaurant you already have 90% of the thing.Food was good. pasta was great, my risotto was very good in flavor but a bit al dente from my point of view.Excellent place.

2 stars only for the great location and coffee, however very poor and disappointing service received from a waiter call Fauton( perhaps, he seemed really busy and didn’t want to spent more time talking or greeting me or the other female client who were at the other table, however strangely very available for the gentleman who clearly didn’t know him before and visiting for the first time as well.) The way Fauton greets his client was horrifying, no how are you or hi, just moved his arm and pointed randomly outside as I could either seat wherever available or just walk my way out. Menu was almost thrown on the table, with no water served of course. I wasn’t about to leave any feedback however it’s truly a shame for a great cafe restaurant to have this kind of services at the side. So sadly I will not recommend it to anyone.

Really nice and friendly staff restaurant has a really nice cozy feel, but unfortunately they had nothing on the menu we had to reorder twice when the sweet waitress came back and said it was sold out. Forgot my side of bacon order and my shakshuka was overcooked and eggs were sooo hard if it wasn't for ordering the last shakshuka in the restaurant I would have definitely taken it back shame really as the Matcha latte was amazing 👌🏾👌🏾

Breakfast was so tasty!! A good amount of options and good value for what you pay for. The staff were friendly and efficient. The place was a bit cramped, but it was fine! Didn't have to wait to get a table.

Amazing sourdough bread! Lots of options of Mediterranean and continental flavours. Recommended. Very friendly personnel.

Had an amazing brunch today and staff were warm and welcoming. Went out of their way to look after us- a vegan, a vegetarian, and 2 meat eaters! Good quality food served well. Looked after us as we had to wait - very popular place! Didn’t have to wait too long either. Definitely will go again.

Come her for some brunch, it was very busy as usual but only waited for about 10min. The service was very quick and friendly. Food came out quick we had The Full English it was excellent however on this occasion the bacon and black pudding overdone hence the 4 stars. We also shared an order of pancakes which were very yummy. I’ve been here a few times in the past and it never disappoints. 😋

This is my favourite spot in London! It truly is a hidden gem. Not only is the food and drinks great, the service is lovely! If you haven't been, you truly are missing out ❤️
