This has gotta be one of the best places that serve Afternoon Tea which I’d been to. I had the Vegetarian one. In my opinion the price is just right for the portions. I loved every single finger sized sandwiches. The egg in a mini brioche bun was scrumptious. The scone was served warm and it tasted perfectly buttery! The desserts were as delicious as they looked! The tea selection was formidable, so many varieties for you to choose from. (You can choose 1). All in all I highly recommend this nice Tea Room. I advise a reservation beforehand and also please don’t do a no-show on them when you’d reserve a table unless you call to cancel :)

We had a great time here. We went for afternoon tea and we got a platter of sandwiches and desserts. The desserts were the best part. The cheesecake was so delicate and soft. It was a little pricey but worth going once. The finger sandwiches needed some salt, hence the 4 star review. The tea was also excellent. Great subtle flavors.

Every thing they say about this place is true. I felt so lucky (can I say even blessed?) that I managed to find a reservation at this cute tea room. The scones and the clotted cream… oh god I still think about it. I wanna go back all the time. On top of the beautiful setting and wonderful selection of tea, sandwiches and pastries, their staff are SO kind. Which is definitely NOT the norm in London. Lorenzo served us and patiently answered all my questions about their tea. I hope this place never ever ever closes. Such a gift to the city!

Lovely, unpretentious little tea room with an impressive selection of teas and some seriously delicious scones! So glad to have found this little place for an afternoon treat.

I came here yesterday afternoon, as a birthday treat from my best friends. I loved everything about this experience. The staff was so friendly, helpful and gave excellent service. It’s little touches like explaining the afternoon tea experience - what’s included and alternatives. Also very approachable about asking how long certain teas brew for.It was so cozy and quaint - will definitely come here again! Exactly what’s needed during such a cold snap!

A friend was visiting and neither of us have ever been to tea, so we spent a night online scouring for a place to go. So many of the teas are in hotels, and seem so expensive, and rather impersonal (many of them seem like they are "doing it for the 'gram" places). We were thrilled to have found Candella, and booked in right away. It's such a small place, I feel fortunate they had a spot open. The atmosphere is everything you hope afternoon tea would be - cute, quant, cozy, and the place smelled divine with all the treats (I wish I could have bottled the scent). Staff was so lovely, tea selection was amazing (we loved the black rose), sandwiches, scones and cakes were SO good - we both ordered some scones and cake for takeaway when we left. Even the postman stopped in for a cup along his route and chatted with the staff, and it seems they know each other well - I thought that was so sweet.I will be bringing any and all visitors here in the future, just the quintessential experience!

An authentic, early 20th century Tea Room. The afternoon tea is incredible, and the selection of teas is broad to offer something for every taste. Highly recommend but make sure you book beforehand.

Literally homemade food and delicious tea in a cozy, welcoming environment with friendly staff!Tea room was excellent! Was choosing an afternoon tea location for an outing with 4 friends (first time going for a few of us) and wanted a non-overly commercialized place like caffe concerto. Needless to say, excellent choice!Wide selection of well-balanced teas, and fresh homemade sweets. We were initially skeptical due to how small the place was and joked around saying they make it in their tiny kitchen at the back, implying they have them brought in. To our surprise however, when I asked the waiter where the sweets were from, he said one of the employees who was there earlier makes them at home across the street and brings them there! It was a massive surprise and awesome to hear! The waiter was super friendly and made us feel welcome, almost like his own friends. Highly recommended and would definitely go again

Stopped in for a bite with tea. The tea was great. Sandwiches were tasty. I thought the menu said 2 scones (fruit and a clotted cream scone) but only got a plain scone. Wish there was a way to now which cakes would be included as some that came I couldn’t eat. Not a fan of coffee flavours. Overall, a good place to sit in nice atmosphere for an afternoon tea. The place has great character.
