If you are looking for a no fuss Polish restaurant then you are at the right spot. Polish classic dishes served in a simple decorated restaurant with fast service.

We had an excellent lunch in atmospheric surroundings. Our waiter Philip was efficient and friendly. You must leave space for the apple cake! Highly recommend!

My partner and I were attending an event nearby. We had a wander to find somewhere local to eat. Stumbled upon Daquise and we are sure glad we did! Delicious food, affordable prices and great service which was prompt and jovial. We will definitely head back and recommend to anybody heading South Kensington way.

Everything was perfect! The waiter was super nice and very friendly I much enjoyed being served by him. The food! Jeeeeesh! Amazing! Super tasty, hot and made from the best ingredients. Great selection of dishes and a nice selection of flavoured Polish vodkas. The interior is rough yet super cozy. Will be retuning soon!

Very nice dining experience at Daquise with friendly and prompt staff, and cosy atmosphere. Very busy for Sunday dinner so suggest you book in advance.Suggest rye soup. And for the mains, suggest the specials if available especially the goose leg confit. Really good dish! My partner had the pork tenderloin in honey and mustard sauce, she says it was okay. The apple fritters were amazing!Overall would suggest this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food. Lovely chicken soup, excellent wild boar dumplings, yummy pan fried calf's liver, nice, soft and sweet, and the cheese-stuffed pancake is the icing on the cake.My first visit ever and I'll definitely be back for more.

Authentic and delicious Polish food. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic service. Cheesecake is a must and I am not a dessert person! Very good selection of drinks.

I’ve been to Daquise with 20 Italian friends as per usual, but this time it was for my birthday. I put my birthday present next to me under the table in a little bag and in the general mess it was stolen. When I realized it, I told the owner and we were the last ones left in the whole place, they had just finished cleaning and the staff hurried out of the place without saying anything. Unfortunately it is almost certain that it was one of the staff while cleaning as it was under the table and had a necklace inside, there were few customers besides us and there was always someone at the table, except the one time we were outside to say goodbye and leave, and the staff was cleaning. No customer would go around looking underneath the tables anyway, and grabbing a random plastic bag, especially as they are having dinner in south kensington. Besides us there were very few people, especially while we are all there. Unfortunately they don’t even have internal cameras, which means anything could happen in that place but they take no responsibility whatsoever. In all this the manager Ted was of a unique arrogance. He denied everything by refusing to cooperate and laughing at me. When I called him to ask if he had any news, he started screaming at me to overlap my voice, saying he did not care and hung up halfway through the phone call and told me not to come any more as this doesn’t change anything for him. Saying that they have no cameras and that the woman we suspect of is working there with her mother and sister, so if anything making it all even less credible on their part and easy to deny. All this to say it was an absurd and frustrating experience, especially given the emotional value of the gift. completely unreliable staff and the manager, Ted, of an immeasurable arrogance.

Great ambience, warm and efficient service, great food (modern Polish? Polish with a French twist?) can’t complain! 😊

Ate here on Remembrance Sunday, amongst a mixture of veterans both Polish & English; and a Polish and English clientele. We were booked for 1pm, and the restaurant filled up quickly in the time we were in there. From the moment you set foot inside Daquise you are met with a feeling of old world charm, enhanced by black and white wartime photos on the wall in the front half of the restaurant; and what I assume was Polish royalty to the rear.Service was efficient and unobtrusive, and at no point did we feel we were being rushed. The menu offers a wide range of Polish cuisine, and we both felt pleasantly full when we left. The prices are reasonable and portion-sizes more than adequate. From my experience of Polish cuisine, I felt the food was of a good standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending Daquise to either Polish or English friends.
