Saturday night dinner, two persons. Food was ok, but not better than moderate. Waiters were unfriendly and were rushing to get us out as soon as possible to get new customers in. The only time they were friendly, was when it was time to pay the bill. We were seated in front of the main door where a cold wind was blowing in our face every five minutes. A proper restaurant would never put a table so close to the entrance door.Dinner started with the waiter getting visibly impatient while we were choosing from the menu (and we did not spend too long on this!) When they brought the starter, our napkins were literally thrown into our lap. (As if we would not know proper table manners ... we were still choosing from the wine list at that moment and just did not get the chance to do so ourself). Papadums and chutney were ok, but nothing special. During starters, we had to keep the waiter twice from removing our starter before we had finished it all. To continue, I ordered red wine and got white wine instead (White wine to accompany spicy Indian food ... you must be crazy!!). I did not even bother to complain. At that point the only thing we wanted was to get out as quick as possible because the cold air was really bothering us. The main course was decent, but a bit dull and not very rich. The naan bread and the pilau rice were good. But, we have had so much better Indian food in the past, going out dining or prepared by friends! And again, a waiter almost collected our plates before we were finished. I guess this was the final sign to beat it. (And, we were not slow! I am aware these restaurants depend on a good table turnover, but these waiters just made me feel like a cash cow!!) Upon paying however, they suddenly remembered how to properly treat guests ... we got wet napkins for our hands, a discount loyalty card, and help with getting our coats on ... Based on what we experienced, this restaurant just does not disserve good reviews, let alone recommendations.

Not good at all. Rushed service, there was one waiter hovering over the table to see when I finished each course who took plates after last mouthful, another waiter lurking round the corner with the next course immediately ready, will probably have indigestion tonight. Vindaloo tasted very buttery and lacked aromatic spices. Only three tables occupied so not sure what all the rush was.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! They refused to serve my wife and her father because my wife has an onion intolerance, saying that 1. They did not believe that it was true 2. That both would have to leave if she was not ordering a meal (she wasn't allowed to sit and accompany her dad who WANTED to eat!) before literally asking them to leave. I was shocked when she told me this, there must be some sort of discrimination law which they had violated that day. I hope you read this and choose to support a restaurant that values common decency.

I eat Indian food all the time and can be very critical about it but I was happy to say this restaurant was wonderful staff and food... I shall eat here again before I leave London .
