Can't give them more than 3 stars because we went there for dinner and turned out they don't serve food due to some problems with the chef. Bummer, I read such a great reviews and was really looking forward to it after a long day. Would've been nice if they mentioned it before we sat down. Overall nice cozy, traditional atmosphere, the staff wasn't really bothered if there will be any customers or not.

Great pub. Not many people were in the pub. Quite surprised as a couple of bubs nearby where closed. The staff were very welcoming and service was good. Would definitely go back

Great place for Fish and Chips with a pint! Huge piece of cod!

Class pub, friendly atmosphere, the girl who works behind the bar is a star and a credit to the business.. priced ok for down south...

Fantastic experience, the staff is super helpful while we are struggling on the internet n try to order on the app.The food exceed my expectation, the roasted half chicken is very good! Crispy chicken skin with tender meat, the French fries are full of butter favor, the salad in right portion! You expect nothing but you get everything. Will definitely come again

Every time there is a game the police needs to be called. They atract the worse crowds of thugs and have no way of controlling them. They start fights, and locals and passers by are disturbed if not assaulted. And you take the risk of getting arrested only for being in this pub. Avoid at all costs

Fantastic little pub/tavern. They happen to have sky sports so was good to chill having a few pints while watching the football. The price is great and the staff are really friendly. A nice clean stop off should you want a pint or to watch the footie.

Decent average pub in my opinion, nothing bad or great really. It was clean and not that noisey which are good, was able to sit and chat and not have to shout.Drinks took a long time to arrive, ordered via their app and took nearly 15 minutes. We thought we'd ordered for the wrong pub it took that long. Which was odd considering it was really quite or "As busy as it gets" according to Google.Staff were nice, but very clumsy. We were there about an hour and they'd dropped 4 different glasses, which was quite amusing. Some of the people here were really nice too, which was unexpected. We were trying to take a picture and a guy on his own enjoying a beer, saw us struggling, so he offered to take one for us (thank you)!Either way, nice quiet pub to enjoy a drink. Would probably go again for a nice relaxed evening.

Location is fantastic, interior decor is superb, food is delicious ... however, staff have run out of friendliness and common courtesy to acknowledge that they have 2 customers (I am very sure we didn't look transparent on the day). We were ignored, not even greeted, not even a smile when the condiments and cutleries were put on our table ??? We were not sure what was going on at the time. I did manage to "force" a smile or laugh from one of the chaps, but I shouldn't "force" this, should I? This should come out quite naturally because we (definitely) looked human on the day and the business is customer-facing anyway. Sorry folks, the one star review is for the food. More stars cannot be justified based on your performance on the day of our visit and you should try to rethink your strategy on how you can make your paying customers feel-valued. Social distancing is not an excuse to not throw a simple "hello" to your customers. If you are very selective with the customers you wish to interact with friendliness, then my verdict really is this pub is NOT suitable to be recommended if the criterion is "Friendly British Pub". You will top the league of "Ignore Customers Pub of the Year 2021".

Excellent english pub experience, fancy place, typical furnitures, good fish and chips, good tap beers, big screen to see sport matches. Vino, the most sympathetic barman in London!
