Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews!! The lack of any response here shows how little interest the venue has in your opinion! 4 of us went for food, told there would be a 45 minute wait, which we were fine with and sat at the bar. After an hour and numerous people simply walking in and taking tables we asked if it would be much longer and the host replied ‘sorry who are you” when we again explained she replied ‘ok if you give you name I’ll put you on the shortlist of 15 minutes. 30-40 minutes later we politely asked if we should order the food in anticipation of our table being ready? To which they readily agreed. Not long after we were given cutlery, at the bar and told we’d be switched to a table as soon as one was available!Roughly 15 minutes later our food arrived and we were told (like my children eating breakfast at the breakfast bar) we’d have to eat where we where! My wife and I had the Bavette steak which was cold and tough, clearly hadn’t been rested as the whole dish including the fries was swimming in a pool of liquid! We dutifully paid the £136 bill (including the automatic 12.5% service charge) and left!

I have to say the food here is quite nice, I had a chicken brioche burger and sweet potato, it's actually quite nice.

I love this place. I’ve been there many times and I have never been dissappointed. It’s always packed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday that gives a good vibe to it.There is an open kitchen so you can see it how nicely and cleanly they work.Food is tasty.Service is good too.I can recommend this place if you just want to eat out or for a date too.

Cool spot with a very “feel good” atmosphere emanating from the chilled soul/jazz tunes, the red leather chairs and industrial chic decor, and the excellent people watching spot at the restaurant front. This is a great place for lone diners craving some space away from the craziness of daily life ... or just in need of some long due reflection. It’s also a great place for jovial family lunches, group gossip get togethers, or 1-1 catch-ups by the window. Alright, it’s a great for a lot of things. The food is good, not great, but to be frank I had the vegan burger, which rarely is the star dish of any restaurant, unless, I suppose, it’s a vegan burger spot.

I'm not joking when I say this, the best burger I have ever had and I can bet the best you will ever have, there's a reason they have a Michelin star in the window and everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. Not to mention everyone who works there is so friendly and the customer service in general is impeccable, could not recommended more, my favourite place near me. Their breakfast is also the best full English I've ever had too

The burgers are great, the venue is cosy, and the service is good!

While the service was slow (would have taken a point off for that), the food options I took were utterly fantastic. The eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes were sublime and I'm longing for them again. Can't comment on the other food options, but really enjoyed the items I had.

Disappointing, overpriced, undercooked.Went here on a date and we were both let down by it.I ordered the Nashville fried cod sandwich (burger) and the cod was undercooked. Unfortunately, I’d already eaten half of it before I realised (I started with the edges). The edges of the fish were nice and flakey, but by the time I got to the portion of the cod that was in the burger, it was underdone and not nice to have.My partner ordered the chicken ‘n’ waffle which was really nice!We also ordered both cocktails, which were lovely. However, upon ordering the waiter asked if we also wanted water with that. We said yes, assuming that he meant tap water. It was only when the bill came that we realised we got charged £4 for a bottle of still water! We thought that was incredibly cheeky of them, as we didn’t even ask for water in the first place! With service charge, this ended up being an expensive mistake. Will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Made my friendly business lunch today great. Should have not bothered with the starters (pricy and nothing special, really) and focused on the burger (double cheese)... it was just excellent
