Great experience. Wonderful customer service. While other pubs were kicking folks out 30-mins too early, these ladies served right up unto the minute to when they had to stop. They let a last minute group come in for one last pint. Gave everyone time to enjoy their drink while they straightened up after close (nothing was served after closing). Just top notch service.

Had a great night here. Good selection of beers, worked my way through all the cans, will be back to try the Belgian beers. We ordered the chicken and halloumi tray which was super tasty - who doesn't love anything with Frank's on. You'll see me again!

When Heythrop College on the square was in it's heyday 22 years ago, a lovely band of international theological eggheads drank here almost daily, definitely very Friday and always with spectacular joy.The college was begun in 1614 and survived every human catastrophe but 21st century greed, sadly it's doors were closed forever in 2020. We've lost some of our beauties along the way, not the least Fr. Bernd Hagenkord, SJ who died this last year at the age of 53. So we came to raise a glass to him and to poor old Heythrop which was the philosophical Hogwarts of it's day. May they both rest in peace.

I enjoyed a lovely meal here last month. I was served 2 G&T’s by a very friendly member of staff called David. He was very informative and they taste great! Il defo be back soon.

I ordered a burger and specifically asked for no onions (I have a mild allergy to it). When I received the burger, it had onions in it so I brought it back and told them. They then brought the 'new' burger to me 5 mins later and I had a look and found a few pieces of onion in there. So they definitely just scraped off the onions from the burger and gave me the same burger... Lucky I don't have a severe allergy to onions but that is just very unprofessional of them to be doing that.

The Greyhound is a fantastic bar with everything that you would hope for. The atmosphere is welcoming with an eclectic mix of people aged from late twenties to late thirties. This should be your 'go to bar' if you are visiting Kensington.

This pub is so good! We visited once late at night and loved it so much we came back two nights later. I had a Chipuffalo Burger the first time and the Beef Dripping burger the second night. I'm not sure which one I liked better. They were both SO good! My husband had the Smokin Jack burger the first night and the big platter of fish and chips the second night. The employees were amazing. They were super helpful and funny. An all around great place!!!

Update:We decided to visit the pub again and really glad we did. The gammon steak and 8 oz. sirloin were superb. I would recommend these if you wish to try the classics. It wasn't busy at the time of our visit and staff gave us an overview of the Greene King brand. The place was clean and the ambience was relaxed. It was a pleasant experience, very many thanks to the team (huge credit to the chef for the fantastic meal).Previous review:Booked a table for 2, arrived only to be told kitchen was out of order which was fine as these things do happen, however, we received no notification that this was the case, otherwise, we wouldn't have made the journey. Interacted with 2 staff throughout, one was friendly and nice, one staff was a bit off with his customer-facing skills towards us. The decor is nice and I can only imagine the ambience when watching live sports on tele. I may visit again to give the place another chance to redeem itself and will definitely home in on customer-facing skills. I believe in second chances. In the meantime, 3 stars is fair.
