Macellaio in Kensington and Chelsea

This has got to be one of my favorite steaks in London! Everything about the place shows how serious they are about their beef. I'd happily go back and might even try their burger because that looked good! Service was amazing and probably one of the better during this trip.

Used to be my favorite steak house in London! But now the quality of service is seriously disappointing…1. We always get seated in the outer dining room next to butcher while we made reservations, every time2. Service is not attentive, not like before…e.g. we only managed to receive ketchup after finishing the fries3. Asked for medium-rare steak but it came well-done, 1/3 of which was difficult to chew and left untouched. We complained to the manager and he’s like “Okay” and walked away…Sad and not sure we will visit again anytime soon.P.S. the cheesecake is amazing

4/5Very nice, all-meat feast. 1. Starter: bone marrow, way too oily and is sickening 2. Ham+burrata cheese, taste like heaven with the bread. 3. We try to order t bone but the waiter said they dont have t bone that day due to delivery being affected by strike? So we ordered rib eye instead, simple seasoning with pepper and salt but taste extremely good.The menu was interestingly designed, looked like newspaper

Mad about meat? This is the place to be to have a steak with a side of steak.Our hostess Sarah was just amazing, her energy made the experience remarkable.Had the tastiest Bone Marrow topped with beef tartare.Beef Tongue 👅 Carpaccio Beef was outstanding, (Proper Carpaccio!) 👌The absolute BEST bresaola beef 😍Rib-Steak Costata (medium cooked 700g) , didn't like it much this time but I was hungry - it was very tough and chewy and the fat was rock hard.

Really nice place and definitely high-end. Staff is really nice, helpfull and friendly. Very modern decoration. Meat is good but what a price ! If good meat is priceless for you then have a go.

What a nice little butcher/restaurant. You pick your meat size depending on how hungry you are. You can have. 200gr steak or a hefty 900gr with bone. The service is friendly and helpful. The meat apparently comes from Italy. The menu is really nice with the sides and desserts as well. If you are looking to have great meat in a nice atmosphere and if you are aroumd, do not miss it. Make sure you have a reservation though, if you want to make sure you have a seat, it is usually busy.

A very positive experience overall. The insalata di carpaccio and fiorentina that we ordered were amazing. The quality of the meat here is fantastic. Service was really good as staff were attentive to our needs. Thank you to the staff that served us last night!

We’ve had a fabulous dinner experience for my fiancés birthday . The incredible service we received from Luca and Kaicke makes us want to return for my birthday 🎂 thank you so much for an amazing evening , delicious dinner and amazing service .. we cannot wait to return 🙂 Grazie Mille

Start to finish, great setting, great service with fantastic starter, main and desserts complimented with great wine… we even had a vegetarian with us whos food was also fantastic. The staff are very attentive, friendly and efficient.. the chef was amazing!! Thanks for a great meal and evening!! Thank you to Federico, Alessandro e Debora

Wowww! A great place to be if beef is your thing. This is how prime beef should be treated and served. Delicious food, friendly and fabulous service, an extensive wine list to pair with your dish. A must stop and even worth a special trip!
