Manicomio in Kensington and Chelsea

We received a great welcome from the team on arrival. The restaurant looked elegant with a big fireplace at the center of the dining area that provided a warm atmosphere. The halibut was delicious and the portion abundant, overall a great experience.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. Enjoyed the lunch out on a Saturday afternoon.

Service and customer care was alright but not to the level of 15% service chargeLovely drinks! We had a margarita and wine and it was quite goodHowever, the food was quite bland. The paté barely had any taste, the fries were cold and not seasoned enough, for example. The tiramisu was the only good, tasty part.

I had a great dinner at the Manicomio a few days ago. The restaurant just looks cozy and decorated with a great set of pieces of art. The staff are very friendly and hospitable and the service was outstanding. The selection of wine was great which we really enjoyed. We had a variety of choices from the menu, the chicken pate and the octopus are great choices for snacks and antipasti! The carbonara was great but the tagliolini alle vongole was ridiculously tasty! For the main, we went for a sharer of a tasty and perfectly cooked T-bone steak! Last but not least, the tiramsu was a great way to finish of a great meal and evening! I would definitely visit again and a big thanks for the staff for the amazing hospitality.

Lovely place to eat. Food was good, some of the staff are a bit arrogant but other than this it was nice.

MERAVIGLIOSO! We had a wonderful dinner here - we loved everything about Manicomio. the staff are wonderful, so courteous, classy, the best service ever.The food - gorgeous. We had both meat and veggie options and dessert, and all were beautifully flavoured and generous portions. Wine lovely too.The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean and stylish. I’ve been to all of the Italians in London, I sometimes think, from the nicest to the least nice, and this is absolutely at the top.I will be returning many, many times and recommending this restaurant. A wonderful evening. Thank you!

Had a great lunch here at an outdoor table. The service was good and the food was excellent. In particular, the gnocchi with Tuscan sausage and fennel was fabulous. If you’re in the neighbourhood, or visiting the Saatchi gallery next door, this is definitely worth a stop.

The Place is lovely. Very elegant and cozy. I'd say perfect for a romantic dinner. The staff is super professional and friendly at the same time. Food was very good, a bit overpriced in my opinion. I will definitely go back in the future. The burrata and asparagus are definitely my favourite!
