We went to Min Jiang specially for their Peking duck. I got to admit that their first course of duck skin and meat wrapped with their own wrap was lovely. It even came with their own homeMade min Jiang specialty sauce.I wasn’t too impressed by their second course of duck meat with iceberg lettuce. It felt as if the second course was more of an appetizer and in all my experience of having Peking duck, I raise questions about the size and width of their second course that really dropped my experience from a good to a borderline hmmm.I’ve attached photos for those around to judge as I had better San choy bao as a second course else where before. If the restaurant can better their second course, this place for Peking duck.. I would give a better rating.Further comments on my IG - HungryFatBarrel

I really loved all of the food choices. Very beautiful view. There are various foods such as buns, dumplings and noodles! I highly recommend this restaurant.

My friend and I have unanimously agreed that they serve the best, most authentic (think Hong Kong style) Peking Duck in London. Mind you the duck has to be reserved a day in advance but it is well worth the extra effort. Absolutely delectable Xiao lung Bao Dimsum and fantastic cocktails.

Really enjoyed this place. Due to the covid restrictions, I have not been able to travel and have been missing China greatly. This place took me back there - from the food to the interiors - it all felt intentional and authentic. The view is mesmerising at night, especially in winter when the Winter Wonderland is on.Dim sum was superb and I truly enjoyed it. It was well balanced and light. We also ordered half duck - it is sliced in front of you and makes up three dishes: duck skin with sugar, duck fillet with translucent wheat pancakes and a third of your option - we went for a soup. Duck was a bit fatty for me but I know it is the traditional way. The pancakes worked really well with the fillets and the fillings. Soup was a lovely closure to the dinner - full flavour and hearty.

This remain my most favourite Chinese restaurant in London. Not only because of the food and the view being on the top floor of the Royal Garden Hotel overlooking the Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace. The service is always solid and good.Good selection and extensive list of wine menu. Their signature dish is Peking Duck. You should order it in advance to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is very popular, so do book a couple of months in advance if you want a table before 9pm.Food 9/10, service 9/10, ambience 9/10, value for money 9/10.

Mixed feelings. The service is good and the view is lovely. We had the roasted duck and it’s lovely. Their own version with garlic sauce is amazing. But I would really appreciate if you had some more of the ”toppings”.What they are missing is that the second serving was not good. We had the one with noodles. And it was simply boring. The restaurant is in need of renovation and the toilets was not clean and not to my satisfaction.

Chinese restaurant with superb views over Kensington Gardens. The charcoal roast duck is the best. It's their signature dish, and need to pre-order. The soft shell crab was just okay - good size portion, but a bit soggy!Other dishes were fine, but nothing special. Not cheap, but something different for a special occasion (a birthday in our case🙂).

We decided to have our wedding banquet at Min Jiang after trying out a number of Chinese restaurants, and we were honestly blown away by the views, set menu, and first-class service. Luca and Antonella could not have been more accommodating to our many requests (we had a mix of strict vegetarians, pescatarians, and carnivores alike, decorations, cake delivery, etc). They even designed custom menus for us! The food and drinks were absolutely incredible, more than plentiful, and one that we will remember for a long time! We especially loved the Peking duck, scallops, beef, and lobster - the food was authentic and perfectly executed. The service staff were also so attentive and made the experience so special. We would highly recommend Min Jiang’s set menu for special occasions.

We mainly came to enjoy the famous Beijing duck (since going to Beijing is really not going to be an option for a while...) but had to try some of their other dishes too. We loved all the dishes we had - the prawns with salted egg yolk and pork floss was all the childhood favourite flavours combined in a way like never before, the cheung fung was delicate and stuffed full of charsiu, the xiaolong bao full of umami rich stock... The cocktails were also delicious and great to see so many tasty non-alcoholic options.Having read some of the reviews regarding service, I can only say that we had a great experience. Booking was easy and allowed pre-ordering of the duck. The welcome was effusive and friendly. The service was attentive and our water glasses never dried. The waiting staff spoke Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Our waiter mixed Mandarin and English with ease as we responded with both. The restaurant suffers from broken AC which clearly affects their bookings but we were pre warned and, even on such a hot day as Sunday, the room felt warm but airy. We sat back and enjoyed the views as we imagined we were in a Hong Kong summer. We'll definitely be returning.

Good view and service but the dim sum was so-so especially for the price (servings sizes were small). AC was also not working so there was a fan blasting in the corner. 100 pounds for two people for lunch as pictured (just sparkling water and tea, no alcohol).
