It was ok. The dining area is very cramped, with seating just inches apart from other customers. It really does feel like they were just trying to maximise their space, rather than make it a nice one. Maybe this was a one off, since I visited on pancake day.The pancake/crepe I got was nice, but was not cooked for long enough in my opinion. Just tasted like bland batter, with sugary condiments making up for it. Needs a bit of crisp to it.The dining area was not very clean, with the water glasses being the main offender. Every glass on all the tables had visible marks from a distance. I’m sure they’re sanitary, but certainly look dirty.Décor is nice and friendly, but a tad tacky. There are fake run down tulip flowers on the small tables which take up quite a bit of space. Just felt awkward having them there. A nice candle or real flower would make for a good replacement. The crepe itself was served on a plastic plate, which also seemed cheap and tacky.I would certainly come here again for a nice crepe or pancake, but I think I would rather have it for takeaway or delivery. The environment it is served in really lets it down.

Service: Not great, some staff are cluelessFood: outstanding! I have both savoury and sweet pancakes. Absolutely 💯 fab! Will definitely go back.Location: great!Environment: As it's Kensington you can expect snobs sat next to you who think it's ok to pull faces and look down on others. But each to their own, otherwise great ambience!

Lovely place, well lit and fresh looking with an interesting decor. The pancakes are well made and the choice of toppings is impressive.

Decent little cafe serving Dutch pancakes. Friendly, efficient service and high quality food in decent sized portions. Very family friendly.

My Old Dutch never disappoints, no matter what the location is. Whether you fancy something sweet or savoury, the choice is great. My crispy bacon and spinach pancake was so delicious! You should try the Dutch speciality: bitterballen and finish with little poffertjes! Cool decor, comfortable booths, quick service. The most difficult part is to choose what you want! Because believe me, majority will sound delicious ;)

Staff are friendly, menu is good but I didn't really enjoy my pancake, I went for the hot Dutch and the pepperoni was like plastic. Was it a pancake or a pizza? 👀 Lovely combination of flavours but weird texture unfortunately. The bitterballen was okay but not like in the Netherlands where it is delicious. Soft drinks are in very small glasses. Overall enjoyable but average.

Friendly staff.I ordered the butterscotch pancakes.Honestly, it was okay. The pancake itself wasn't very fluffy or soft and buttery as I was expecting. (Like American style pancakes) instead were a tad bit hard in texture kind of like the ones you get already made from grocery stores, maybe not as bad but similar!! I guess I was just expecting more from a place specializing in pancakes and crepes. My sister had the crepe style pancakes and it was better in taste and texture.

Huge portion! Came here on monday and they had ‘monday madness’. Some pancakes were as low as 5.90 pounds. We ordered the chicken curry pancakes which was delicious and it also came with rice. The savoury pancakes were banana nutella with ice cream. Perfect for sweet tooth. Its a good place to come with friends, good casual vibe. And the service was perfect! Amazing and helpful staffs.

Visited by chance on a Monday and discovered special Monday offer of £5.95 for most dishes. Brilliant value, delicious pancakes, and friendly knowledgable staff. Would have loved to try a dessert pancake but was absolutely 'stuffed' by the time I'd finished my main. Will have to make another Monday visit for dessert! Highly recommend a visit...

I've been dreaming of going back here since the first time I visited 3 years ago - the pancakes are that good. They definitely lived up to my memories and I think I went to pancake heaven. Highly recommend the savoury pancakes with a sweet pancake to share as dessert! (warning: pancakes fill you up more than you think! leave a bit of time to get over the food coma)
