Okasan Sushi London in Kensington and Chelsea

It’s a shame to write my first review as a bad one but I needed to post this. I visited this place for the first time and had a bad experience. they don’t really care about customers and even had a gruff manner constantly including sighing. We had a seafood ramen but it doesn’t taste like Japanese ramen at all. also I just wanted to let the owner know the big rising sun flag in your place was a symbol of fascism which caused brutal war crime in Asian countries.

Cozy atmosphere. Friendly family ran place. Delicious and fresh food and good prices. My husband and I loved this place and plan to return often. The shrimp fried rice was amazing!

We order sushi from Okasan at least once / week. It is incredibly good quality and it is always fresh and well prepared. This is a family run business and the family is so nice. Highly recommended

This place is AMAZING. The food is some of the best Japanese I've had in London. The prices are very reasonable and it has a lovely family vibe. It's not your super high end, fancy restaurant - it's more like your cosy local, with delicious comfort food. 100% recommend the chicken karaage, prawn tempura sushi and the agedashi tofu.

the ramen was the best ive ever had, and the sushi was also some of the best, even a day later (i took it home). the atmosphere was lovely and felt homey. would 1000% recommend

Small cozy japanese restaurant on the beautiful Portabello Road. We had miso soup, a mix set of sushi and chicken teriyaki with rice for a very good price. Delicious food, good and fast service. Will come back again!
