Pizza East Portobello in Kensington and Chelsea

Food was absolutely delicious. Pizza was amazing, done just right. Nice staff and restaurant. Downside is that you can only have the table for 90 mins so we felt a little rushed towards the end.

Had apps and dessert here and the food was pretty good. Though the service was a bit off… they kind of forgot we were there because someone most of the staff knew came in. A few other reviews mentioned it was overpriced and let’s just say they weren’t far off the mark.

Great pizza, horrible roast and worst manager ever. We ordered food for the girls and a roast beef for us. Roast beef was served 50 min after. Beef was out of date and we complained manager was very arrogant and reluctant to admit the meat was not in good condition (even from the aspect was obvious) and was challenging back and offering a 50% reduction for something that they should have never served. He ended up charging us 15 pounds for the roast trimmings and service charge. He then offered us ice cream which obviously after the ridiculous situation we didn’t accept. Will never come back.

The best!! Can't beat watching the pizza being made right in front of you. The waitresses were so so lovely here too!

The pizza was delicious, however overpriced and small.I'm Italian, and seeing pizzas priced £15-£20 just hurts my soul.The wine was also incredibly overpriced: £40 for a bottle of vermentino when I can normally get a decent one for £20-25 pretty much anywhere in London, seems a bit unfair.Great pizza, but I know tons of pizza places in London that have more choice and fair prices.

Simply The Best! Was so pleased to return back to Pizza East Portobello.The venue itself is so beautiful with windows the whole way around you can enjoy in any weather. New extra outdoor seating available too!The menu, which I love always changes a little every time I go had some extra special new features like a Crab Bruschetta & Lemon Pie. We ended up spending 4hrs at lunch we had such a wonderful time with the incredibly fabulous staff - I love also to watch the chefs in the pizza kitchen right there, adds an excellent atmosphere!🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Lovely atmosphere, good service, and tasty pizza/ingredients. The pizzas tho are slightly fried and perhaps this is what makes Pizza East different. The size of the pizzas are ok but I believe it is a bit overpriced for the pizza and the whole experience.

funnily, pizza is the least of the things - much better on the salads, antipasti, fried green peppers. Recommended for a good vermentino, too. Back to the pizza, it's a wood oven, but not quite up to best.

Enjoyed our visit here. I'd booked for the wrong Sunday, but the staff were excellent in reassuring us that they could squeeze us in; not easy given we had a baby pram with us. But squeeze us in they did, and I'm glad of it. The pizza was pretty good - thin crust and straight out of the oven. Calamari was a generous serving, and had other seafood like prawns too. Had to get the mac and cheese, and I'm glad we did, although it is very, very rich as a side dish - it could easily be main for one person, or would be good for 3/4 to share.Thanks for having us.
