Polpo in Kensington and Chelsea

Welcoming, smiley, friendly staff. Great service and vegan gluten free options too. Surprisingly pleasant experience, during heavy rain, Polpo team served well. Keep up the good work and thank you for being down to earth.

I'll give it a 3 for its food which, like other Polpo's is consistently good. The issue with this branch is the staff and the service. It's chaotic, although if you are female you will get served quicker for sure. Staff sit at the bar when they are eating despite them having customers waiting to sit down so lost revenue there but maybe no one cares. Tall chap with glasses on talks a lot more than any work he does and is one of the crew that is only interested in serving women. Bar staff rotate more than a carousel with folks that don't even have bar experience so it is all over the place. When it works, it works but when it doesn't which is more often than not, it lets the brand down. I've decided to boycott this branch as a result of service and staff hence why I have only given a 3 star rating else it would be 5. Maybe I'll try again in a few months i.e. 12.

Yep, definitely worth a visit. Cozy little restaurant with great food. Don't skip on the tirimisu!

I enjoyed everything far from the poor customer service. The other staffs were super nice, but the guy who served us was the worst. He seems angry with us for some reason. We were trying to keep smile and nice to him, but I felt really rude. It makes me never want to come back this place.

Plenty of outdoor seating hidden away behind the Kings Road. The Resturant offers a lovely selection of small plates perfect for sharing. Every dish tasted amazing and reasonably priced.

As always. Such an amazing atmosphere and food was top!!!! The Frito misto is a must must must!!!!! It’s great Bec you get a whole lot of dishes and share them. Tasting everything and finding your favourite. The cocktails are so yummy. And the waiters and managers are hands on and good.

The entrance to this restaurant is a little confusing but once inside, you feel you have been exported into a lovely Mediterranean bistro with its wood floors and brick walls.The place wasn't full yet as we've arrived quite early for dinner but already there was a light-hearted, buzzy atmosphere.The food was delicious - great flavours and 'sharing' plates if you like the 'tapas' style of eating, with reasonably good service too.I really look forward to visiting again when the weather is warmer as it has a large outside dining area which I am sure is very popular.
