Amazing quality of food here, staff are well knowledgeable, kind and ready to help with choosing goodies. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

The Sally Clarke shop far exceeded my expectations. She is a perfectionist in everything she does. She is delightful and possesses a smile that would melt the abominable snowman. Plus, the croissants are to die for!

I stopped at Sally Clarke for a recharging flat white after strolling around Portobello road. I had the most wonderful experience. Staff was extremely polite, service spotless and my flat white a pleasure! This place has been added to my list of "best coffee places" in London! 👌🏻💞 I look forward to my second visit - which will definitely include some artisan pastries! Recommended!

You make the BEST cheddar herb biscuits in the whole world!! I’d happily eat this every day for the rest of my life….but my waistline will protest I suspect… 👍

Outside the decorations are fabulous and lots of scrumptious morsels. Missing unfortunately is an indoor eating area — there are tables outside but very few. The pastries are also a little sparse — not as much choice as I might have expected. But maybe I am used to France where I live. Coffees are great and staff friendly.

A really nice small shop / bakery! Where croissants really taste croissant from France! The staff was nice and friendly. Recommended!

Nice boutique shop on a quiet street with outdoor seating. Lovely shortbread cookies and delicious coffee!

Lovely shop with gorgeous looking desserts. Everything laid out in the serving counters looked great. We were about to purchase some of our favourite desserts when we noticed a fly slowly savouring one dessert after another. Informed the staff there but they just said oh and did nothing as the fly went from one dessert to another. In the end, we just purchased those desserts which were covered up or wrapped up. I hope their kitchen staff are more hygiene conscious about the food they serve. Those desserts we purchased taste great and we would like to come back to purchase more but are hesitant to do so as their staff seem to not mind flies on their food.

If you want a baguette, this is not it! This bread has no right being called baguette! What I received (used Weezy, who were great), is an elongated bread without the characteristic crunch on the outside and soft dough inside. The inside is similar to regular bread, tasted like a regular bread as well! Massive craving for baguette still not satisfied. Disappointing.

I'm a regular customer for 3 years now. Very friendly staff, great Galette des Rois every year in January, good bread and desserts. I also miss the canelés, perfectly cooked. But there is one thing I do not understand : the "pain au chocolat", and the "croissant". They are is officially the worst I've ever had in my entire life. They never make it good. Every time it is old, dry, never fresh, and hard to bite it. Maybe it is good when it's just out of the oven. But a pain au choc or a croissant should never be served the day after it is made. I come from a small town in France, and even the worst bakery can nail a croissant or a pain au chocolat. Please serve fresh ones, not after 24 ou 48 hours, please.I keep dreaming one day they'll make it and serve it the way it's supposed to taste and feel in mouth. Kindest Regards.
