Brilliant food and great service

Lovely setting and good food (if rather expensive now)

The Garden is Lovely, unfortunately the lunch and the tea is quite uninteresting. The luncheon used to have fantastic fare, truly delicious, and tea time desserts and cakes were to die for. No need to die anymore, both luncheon and tea are now quite ordinary. Very sad.

Lovely food but table service was unfortunately slow today. Still when we did get service & an apology for the wait, we enjoyed our food in a lovely outdoor setting. The fact it was sunny was a bonus.

Very poor lunch and very expensive. My caesar salad was just lettuce + lettuce, half a bolied egg (how mean) and one milimeter of cheese. My wife's veggie burger did not taste of anything. Nice staff. Nice setting, but not worth sitting for lunch.

We received a warm welcome from the staff on duty.....A very hot day. The Cafe is pleasant but can be expensive Service charge is included and not optional. No cash accepted either. A permanent gazebo has been erected otherwise tables, chairs and parasols outside.

A disappointing and rather expensive lunch. Very little choice. My salad nicoise lacked anchovies and was very basic and the pudding brownie so hard it was almost impossible to cut. I’m hoping this was just a one off bad day. The waiter was charming however.

Enjoyed my time at the Garden Cafe. Was sat outside, distanced from other tables. Our table was cleaned before we sat down. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. We had two delicious meals, a Caesar salad and the aubergine curry. Will come back again!
