I’ve gone to this pub for lunch with a friend for several years. Was fabulous with the prior manager, but she was reassigned to a new pub, and we noticed the difference immediately. The pub was about 1/4 full, but we had to wait 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table and we then waited 45 minutes for our lunch. I had the Sunday Roast Lunch and he had fish & chips - mains you’d think they’d have readily available to serve. My meat, Yorkshire pudding and veggies were all cold. The cauliflower cheese was warm. His fish & chips were warm at best. Very disappointing. We ate it anyway, then looked at our empty plates in front of us for another half an hour. No waiter ever came to ask if everything was ok. I finally walked up to the bar to ask for the bill.Very poor.

Came to London for a short weekend and we took a room in at Blackbird. The rooms are cozy and so so beautiful! Every room has a name and a theme, they are so well done and so many cute details taken into consideration. The room has everything you need, is warm and if you’re lucky you can also get a view of the street (like we did). The staff is lovely and the position is excellent- right across the tube station Earls Court + a ton of shops& restaurants. Def will be back! Thank you, Blackbird!

Went to the pub/restaurant: Servers were very accommodating to our large group and very patient and kind. The London pie was delicious and came with a good amount of food and wonderful gravy.

I am writing this review as a customer at the restaurant. My first visit was for breakfast with my nephew and and the service and breakfast was amazing - though pricey at £35 for the two of us.I thought I'd try the restaurant with two guest, and what a completely different experience. On entering the restaurant, the barman was probably having a bad day and was somewhat testy. Nevertheless I asked to be seated in the restaurant at the back with no problem. Since this is a restaurant favoured for pies I ordered the London Pride pie and my guest had a different pie and one had the burger. The food arrived literally in a few minutes, hence I know that the food was going to be a problem. The burger had about 12 small chips as its meal, the pies were stone cold in the middle and the presentation was just awful. The pastry was chunky and stuck to the inside of the mouth and the fillings were paltry. We did get another plate of chips as it was recognised that the food was not a decent plate for the price we were paying. I do not mind paying for good food but this was just a rubbish meal. The manager was nonchalant and appeared to have been through this routine many times before. The 2 stars are only because we had a good breakfast there.

I’ve eaten at the restaurant twice now. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both have been EXCEPTIONAL despite being a bit pricey. Well worth it, and I’ll return at least once more before heading home to the States. Friendly staff both times and quick service with wonderful portions and flavor.

A fine pub worthy of a visit. The atmosphere was friendly, lively and busy; the staff were helpful, and caring; the range of beers & wines etc. extensive and the menu impressive. A lovely, friendly pub where you can relax and/or make new friends and be at ease.

We stayed in Earls Court for 10 days in September 21 and came back to the Blackbird several times. A great pub made special by fantastic staff. A warm welcome every time we visited, good selection of beers all well kept and equally good choice of wine. Food was well presented good pub fare. Hope to visit again next time we are in London.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights stay at The Blackbird. A great pub atmosphere, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing with fast and efficient service. The only reason for 4 stars is simply because of the room being a tad small, the noise from the road and thin walls meant we heard every bang from room above. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the London action with everything nearby!

Everything about this pub is excellent. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Considering you are sleeping above a busy pub and on quite a busy road there was no noise whatsoever. We were sad when our two days came to an end and would definitely stay again. Walking distance of Earls Court Station and so easy to get about. Nothing more to say!!
