Everything about this small traditional restaurant is absolutely fantastic. From the quality of the fish, to the techniques used, to the amazing kitchen and support staff. This is by far the best sushi restaurant I’ve tried in London and I genuinely urge everyone to try it. Whether you’re a group or alone this is the place to dine.

Fresh. Crisp. Savory. Overall delicious. Expensive? For this type of quality yes of course. The google $ do not lie. Its a perfect place for a sushi lover or for a nice meal, and delicious treat at that.Would highly recommend the ‘“lunch set’. Good deal- (see salmon pic) and comes w salad & miso soup. The salmon set for lunch was the perfect assortment with each nigiri piece having its own twist- caviar, truffle, wasabi etc. Elevated sushi. Added a side of the fatty tuna nigiri and wow- absolutely melted. The serving staff was lovely and the place was very clean.

Very bad experience. I rang the previous day to book, making it clear that my elderly mother is in a wheelchair, and was told clearly that their restaurant was accessible. It was not. We arrived outside the restaurant - no offer of help from staff who watched us from inside. All tables were bar height with no provision for anyone in a wheelchair. Is that even legal? Certainly you need to make sure you don’t assure wheelchair users that you can accept their booking, only to turf them out bluntly. We went to two more restaurants (all full of diners who had booked, as we thought we had), before going home. Totally unacceptable - they should be ashamed quite frankly, and a great deal more apologetic than they were on the night for throwing a total spanner into ours. I never write reviews but I couldn’t let this slide. I also appreciate that every restaurant is slammed at the moment but basic training and decency should be top of the menu and it was not.

The sushi is another level here. The say no soya, and for a reason.. 🤩 Pro-advice: when you eat the sushi with rice, flip it so that the fish is on the side of the tongue! Service could have been a little better to be honest... Felt a little disorganized with dishes arriving sporadically (late), table booked but not available, etx.. We surely didn't catch them on their best day :) but the food is SERIOUSLY good. And priced accordingly...I'd go here for lunch, if not in a rush and ready to splash. Not for dinner tbh.

Some of the best, if not the best, sushi I’ve had in London. Preferred this to Umu.

My family and I went to visit around 5 months ago for the first time and apart from the food being great, we met Enrico who is very welcoming and made our experience there amazing! Because of the food and Enrico we decided to go back and also met Ludmila who also made it an amazing experience for us. I don’t usually leave reviews but I definitely recommend this restaurant. The food and the staff are one to remember! It is the best sushi I have tried in London.

We were here on recommendation. Unfortunately, the place was a disappointment. When we arrived for dinner, we were given a friendly welcome and escorted to our table. We noticed that the staff were wearing dirty clothes and the waiter smelled unpleasant. We asked the waitress what the signature dish of the restaurant was and she started going through the entire menu. After the unsatisfactory answer, we simply ordered across the menu and for the main course we chose the "chef's choice".When the food arrived, we were slightly shocked. The portions were quite small for the price.2 big bottles of water, 5 beers, 1 tea, 4 starters, 2x chefs choice (8), 3 desserts for GBP 250.The food was tasty, but the price/performance ratio was not right at all. The cleanliness of the tables and dishes was bad. The service was poor and the ambience did not match the price either.I can't recommend this place to anyone.Ambiente 2 starsService 2 starsFood 2 stars

We ate here for lunch; While the menu of fish isn't huge, the sushi was the best I've had do far in London. And the dishes were all creative and delicious.

So excited to eat toro again. Came there for lunch which was perfect since it included a soup and salad with the sushi set. The staff was very friendly and the food was phenomenal. Will also try to check out their other location that is more of a restaurant (Ocean House Yashin).

I’ve tried many supposedly good sushi restaurants in London but nothing comes close to Yashin. It is definitely the best sushi place I have tried outside of Japan. Have been coming back multiple times and will continue to do so. Always a great pleasure to come here whenever I'm in town. If you are alone or only two, highly recommend sitting at the counter: you get to experience first hand the sushi making. This is my go-to place for a great night out. Food is exquisite and drinks selection is great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the price.
