Al Forno in Kingston upon Thames

Visited this restaurant for the first time last week and it was amazing! I had the goats cheese starter and the pesto pappardelle as the main and both dishes were delicious. Truly authentic Italian food. The atmosphere was great and the staff were really nice as well. They weren’t rushing us to leave even when they were tidying up at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Kingston! I will certainly be returning.

Friendly and cosy Italian atmosphere. Food is on point. Service is little slow but always room for improvement. I will return.

Extremely happy with the service throughout.Did not get the gentleman's name but was very good with recommendations and service throughout.Drinks and food was served in a timely manner which I was impressed with.Only disappointment was that waiter started clearing away crockery whilst others were still eating - but would visit again :)

I found this restaurant by googling family restaurants in Kingston. I went based on the great reviews and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I'll definitely be returning.

Great seafood and loved the pasta.Very busy when we went at 8pm on a Saturday, so you might have to wait until your bill comes, but food service itself was in good time and the wait staff were friendly.

Al Forno’s has good gluten free pizza and pasta options, nice and friendly service if a little slow to begin with. Decent covered “outside” area out front. Felt reasonably authentic and would go again (I live locally). Very family friendly - if you want to avoid kids then go a bit later in the eve.

Just stumbled past as we were looking dinner, and to our surprise it was pretty darned good! Beautiful pizza (nice pizza oven too!) and pasta, make sure to try the pistachio ice cream before you leave (with an expresso). Great staff and lovely location by the river.

We have celebrated several birthday parties here. Great vibes, good times.The pizza is great, the pasta is homemade and the portions are excellent. Can't go wrong here. There are always lots of Italian families that eat here and Today there must've been at least 5 or 6! You know the food is good when you see Italians eat there also! We love Fabio and all the other customers do too! Homemade cheesecake was yummy!

We found this place off chance. I really fancied Italian food so goggled nearest restaurant and Al Forno came up. I’m very picky person when it comes to food... I fancied particular dishes and this place had it. Little did I know that this place had the best food I have ever had!!! And service was amazing. With Italian accent and amazing dishes I felt like I was on holiday. Will definitely return here to eat and 100% recommended!
