Hit or miss with the chef shift you get. All our food was swimming in oil. Catch of the day - lemon sole - was missing any lemon flavor. The sirloin steak was well-done instead of medium-rare. We weren’t able to finish our meals because of that, unfortunately. It gets very busy here so booking upfront is recommended. Portions are large.Staff is very friendly and professional. Average wait time for food during busy time is about 30 minutes. Sometimes they have a live pianist playing.

The staff is very friendly! Especially Ms Christine! We are from Greece and because she speaks Greek fluently she made us feel like home!Thank you! Spectacular river side view! Excellent customer service!

A popular restaurant here along the riverside. Service is fast but the food is just average at best and portions are rather small for the price. But the location is great.

We went to Browns for a birthday dinner. Everything was perfect, from the amazing service by Angel and Sylvia, to the delicious food and cocktails and to the lovely atmosphere. We will definitely come back here

I came here for my sister's birthday. It's by the river, very pretty. The heating wasn't on, and it was cold inside, but the food was nice. I enjoyed dessert the most... Apple crumble and custard, whereas the other guests fancied the Eton Mess, which did look delish ! I would visit again, but in summer.

The quality of food has significantly decreased over the last couple of years. Overall the food has been over cooked, greasy, and too much added salt. The environment is pleasant but it has lost the edge of good quality food that it once prided itself on.Excellent service still.Tender stem brocoli really over cooked***update***I responded to the request for more info and spent the time to give objective feedback about my experience. This was sent in mid January. It's now early March and I've not received a reply to my email.

Had the bottomless brunch deal. Very good value. Food was delicious. Lovely way to spend a saturday afternoon.

Had a great Sunday lunch here. Food was yummy, lovely ambience as there was a lady playing the piano. My friend felt her beef was over cooked and asked to send it back, there was absolutely no hesitation from the restaurant staff and they swiftly returned with a fresh beef dinner cooked to her liking. We will definitely be returning!

Great location on river side of Kingston for drink or / and food. They re decorated place during pandemic and it is looking great vs pre pandemic. Only reason for not 5 stars is service could be sharper. None the less nice place with river view. Also got a terrace.

Great service by our lovely waitress, but felt she was being pushed to upsell us on the desserts and she returned 3 times to our table to offer them.To the main food, baked Camembert was delicious and really started the meal off well, unfortunately the main didn't live to the same standard. Pork belly with no fat and far too dry.
