Caffe Jax in Kingston upon Thames

Visiting Kingston University with my son.Thought we'd have lunch at Cafe Jax. So glad we did. Lovely welcome, lovely food.Can't wait to return some day!

Asked for a meal WITHOUT olives and after receiving a meal with them basically got told to just eat it. I’d never stop off at a local strange little place like this but due to waiting on a friend decided to try it despite their clearly money hungry pricing. Clearly I was right and the thought of throwing away a few ingredients over a happy customer is one that hurt their soul so they simply awkwardly exhaled and told me to eat it. Never again. Terrible place. Unless you’re a canine.EDIT: wasn’t offered a fresh one, just scraping to save face, rude reply aswell. Never leave reviews and won’t respond again. K9 Parlour

Lovely people and service, light and airy space to eat. Good food at a good price. We often come here when in Kingston.

What an excellent experience I had at this JAX cafe. Very cheap and affordable pasta, £5.50 including OLIVES, very tasty, for kingston thats a bargain. I asked for a regular pasta and they insisted on Olives, what a delightful suggestion!

Lovely little cafe and they are associated with the local artists so have nice art work to view often.

Nice place but the egg and bacon sandwich took 9 mins to arrive and the tea took 7 mins to get to me , even though there was only me waiting with 4 staff .... won't be coming here again ....maybe its just good for cold sandwiches 🥪

This is my go-to place for lunch in Kingston.The food is fantastic, I typically order their chicken and pesto pasta with sun-dried tomatoes with a frappe and my god, it's a simple combo but so good! However, what separates Café Jax is the service - Helen and Simon are such welcoming, sincere and enjoyable people to be around. It's the first time I've returned to a café and the owners remember my name and order!Highly suggest you pay them a visit, if not for the amazing food, then for the amazing people. 🇬🇧🇨🇾

Simon & Helen are always very friendly and helpful, the food is always generous portions and tastes very nice. My fiancée and I love coming here, we feel it is the best cafe in Kingston for atmosphere, customer service and great tasting food. Highly recommend to anyone.

Good selection of food, coffee and desserts. Good location, friendly staff and a great place to have quick bite or a more leisurely coffee and chat with friends. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
