Carluccio's - Bentalls in Kingston upon Thames

Good service. Tasty food, although mushroom sauce for steak looked like it came out of a can. Restaurant is inside the Bental shop near ladies shoes.

Awful, Pate ice cold and covered with yellow gunk which I hope was butter. Service awful, 3 servers ignored me when I wanted to be seated. Eye rolls when I asked for a glass of water. Server asked me "What " When I stated I was ready to order. Adrian M kept looking around as if other people were mote important and couldn't care what I wanted, another couple next to me also thought he was rude. Was going to have lunch but totally put off and only had the pate. Bentalls store you need to improve judging from other reviews.

One of the staff lead us to a table and just walk away after throwing menus. We're sitting almost a half an hour, No one came to take even drink order even though I gave the signals(completely ingored). There's no lights up our table.I've been this restaurant for a few years and customer service is getting worse and worse. This could be my last visit.

On the menu it says that the minute steak is served pink in the center, perfect. When it arrived it was overcooked, brown all the way through and tough like leather. I asked the waiter why it was so overcooked. He told me it was how they cook their minute steaks and that physically you can't cook them any other way because they are so thin. He was lying. I then proceeded to order a sirloin steak because he suggested that it would be medium rare. When it arrived it was equally overcooked and dry on the inside. - and how do you even get grill marks on a steak but then make the rest of the steak look boiled... Expert level at making bad steaks.

Excellent food. Shoddy service. Non attentive waiters. Not a manager in sight. At times not a single staff member on the floor. My starter arrived after my partner had finished his. Had to get up to look for a waiter to order 2nd drink and when asking for the bill. Waiter asked for a cash tip instead of being included in the bill. Thank goodness are good conversationalists

We were greeted quickly and got a choice of our place to sit. But the waiter who took our order had some kind of attitude. It was not the experience We were looking for. We had experienced good environment before pre covid and we’re expecting same. The food was dry and wasn’t up to standards. The waiter during billing said he would like the tip in cash as they don’t get anything from card payment. But we didn’t have any cash with us and paid through card. After the bill came through, the waiter threw the receipt on the table and left. It was very rude. Will never be visiting this place again.

Excellent meal. First time in Carluccio's for a long while so prices have risen, but reasonably so. Very good service. Makes going shopping in Kingston worthwhile.

Fantastic food, my friend and I each had a three course meal and neither of us could find fault. The calamari is a favourite of mine. The waitress serving us was friendly and able to give recommendations on desserts when asked. I would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Terrible customer service, starters and mains slacked in oil and salad burnt and old. Manager said Carluccio’s doesn’t exist anymore, is a new owner. She said that they have new menu, new suppliers. Worst place I’ve been since moved to UK.
