Chennai Dosa in Kingston upon Thames

One of the best places to try south Indian food!Very good service.I have visited couple of times recently and the quality of food and the service has never disappointed me.I'll visit this place loads of times..Thanks for wonderful service again!

Used to be a good place for South Indian food, but it's gone downhill lately. The buffet items are not topped up until customers point and more importantly the quality of the food has also gone down. They need to sort themselves out otherwise end up closing like their other branches.

We have been visiting this place for a very long time and the service has been great. For the last few visits the portions have been reduced. This time we ordered Mutton Dosa and there was 2-3 pcs of mutton and rest potatoes. The other bits ordered was like a child portion. The lady serving was very polite and apologetic and apparently the owner had informed that those were the portions. You have just lost a regular customer.

Food taste is excellent.. The staff members are very humble and Kind.Especially the lady who greetings very kindly. She is very wonderful with golden heart. The service is also very good. The best place for Indian-South indian food. ❤❤

Utterly disappointed on receiving Chole bature which tasted like tikka masala curry mixed with chickepeas. Bature does not taste like that and also isn’t so orange in colour was exited to eat only to be an unenjoyable food experience. Wouldn’t recommend, try tooting instead.

Ordered fromHere today. Have ordered previously but I think quality of food has terribly gone down. The chutney tastes so stale. Breakfast thali stale and the sweet along with that as if a month old. Please improve ur quality .last time ordering from here.

Good Customer service by a young lady who works part time there named Aishwarya. Treated us very nicely like her guest. Very polite and respectful. Food was delicious

Service wasn't great. Was waiting at the door for a while. Wasn't the cleanest or most organised place. I came for my partner, but i didn't feel comfortable eating here. Took a while to be served. Water came after the food. No pictures of the food on the menu. I wouldn't really come here again. I didn't enjoy the food enough. My partner loved the dosa however, I didn't.

Be careful to enquire about the qty of chicken/mutton pieces before ordering! - There are some dishes such as 'Chicken Gravy' where you will only get one piece of chicken tikka, a pencil eraser size. Not kidding, I was surprised, thought it was a mistake so enquired the restaurant guy who confirmed this is what you get! - Also chapatis become cardboard paper hard. Be careful with their non-veg dishes!

Be prepared to develop an addiction for this food!! I’ve been here many times and keep coming back. Just recently went for Sunday lunch and there was a buffet for a good price (veg options £6.99, meat and veg options £8.99). The mutton gravy/mutton curry is AMAZING! Service is welcoming and attentive. Be prepared to wait a long time for some items as i think they make it fresh. Well worth the wait though.
