One of the first restaurants we tried while visiting. The service, the venue, and the food seemed very welcoming to the UK.

The place is amazing. Very relaxing and nice views by the river. Interiors are exquisite! Customer service is beyond excellent and people are nice, smily and have positive attitude. Food/drinks were delicious and they have wide variety of options. Definitely will go there again.Free parking is a bonus.

Great views of the river. Nice place to go and have drinks with friends etc. our visit on this occasion was noisy due to barking dogs and quite a few families with crying babies and children running around. Didn’t feel like very relaxing sociable place for adults in that atmosphere but the river view worth the return trip in the future. The restaurant had the same menu as the Spring Tavern in Ewell. Same prices. But the lamb rack portion was smaller at Harts Boatyard and the service wasn’t as good either.

Great views of the river, drinks and service were also brilliant. Food was average at best, especially for the high price you pay. The roast had potentially every component (apart from they left two of them off the plate. So I had to request for them) but nothing was particularly outstanding, I could definitely cook better at home, very disappointing. The burger was good but nothing more. If you're looking for good food I wouldn't bother (there are some great roasts in long ditton) but for sunny riverside drinks, yes!

1st time here in 20 years arrived for our booking, registered my car for parking. Nick gave us choice of tables by river & picked lovely coloured booth ... ordered main & dessert ....food was really lovely, service was great, nothing a problem, we were not rushed either which was lovely ... decor was beautiful & very warm and friendly venue - would definitely go again & would recommend 👌 beautiful real fire downstairs... very welcoming 🔥

Let me start by saying the decor and atmosphere is lovely and beautiful. Our host was lovely and super nice and was able to move our reservation up as we arrived earlier than expected. However after sitting down we realized we were given regular menus rather than the 3 course Valentines Dinner offer we had booked- not a problem, what we wanted was on the regular menu as well. However when we brought up to our waiter about the Valentines Deal we had booked he told us that the Valentines Course wasn’t available yet… despite us showing him clearly stating on our reservation and the online menu that it started 11th February he seemed disinterested and never got back to us after he said he would ask about it.We ordered as we would have if we had the valentines offer and the baked Camembert starter was phenomenal, however the mains were very uninspiring and left a lot to be desired. When asked about dessert we tried again to see if we could get the shared dessert option which was listed on the valentines menu but were told it was unavailable. We asked if could get a dessert to go.. and were given the answer of “maybe?”And finally my partner asked if he could just get the brownie and we were then told they had run out. We said that was fine and would just take the bill please and not even 2 minutes later our waiter comes out of the kitchen to take our bill and apologizes with “sorry my mouth is full I just ate one of our brownies”. Thankfully by this point we had already decided we were done and were able to laugh about it on the way home. However the whole experience left us feeling a bit bizarre and like we might have walked into the wrong restaurant.

This is a nice local restaurant / pub which has always been a go-to place when we wanted a good drink and place to chat with friends. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing (get a seat by the fireplace - so warm and cozy), food is good and service is friendly and helpful. We normally like to stop by for impromptu dinners so really missed it during lockdown. There is a nice variety of food although on busy nights they may run out of popular dishes. The kids love the mac & cheese (perfect for the petite palate) and we are fans of the burger, and the scallops. Desserts are yummy and indulgent and big enough for sharing.Parking is plentiful but remember to register your number plate at reception.

Nice place for group gatherings with the great view of River Thames. Especially starters are really good.

Amazing service with friendly staff and great food! The place had a lovely ambience and best of all it was dog friendly. Would highly recommend!

What a lovely surprise this place turned out to be. Venturing from North London to this South London location we stopped here for lunch for my son's 20th birthday. We sat at a lovely table on the upper terrace overlooking The River Thames. Fab views, tasty food, friendly staff. Definitely recommend and we look forward to returning.
