We had a wonderful meal tonight with family. Superb menu, food was perfect. Fantastic wine and Gin selection. Service was great. Highly recommended a real hidden gem. !! Thanks.

A birthday meal where the high quality of dishes, pre and between course treats and thoughtful birthday extras was matched by the friendly, expert advice about the menu and the wine. Every detail was considered and beautifully delivered. The fact that it was great value too seems churlish to mention as the evening was a delight and our recommendation obvious to anyone reading this. And they'd be right!

Came here for my birthday with my family. Great service, drinks, food and lots of yummy extras! The restaurant has a nice intimate vibe but only downside being the closeness of the tables didn't help us when it came to the loundness of the guys at the next table a few too many drinks in (however I'm still giving it 5 stars as I know it's not the fault of the staff).

This place is totally faultless. It's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, I think. Great atmosphere, efficient service, wonderful drinks, delicious food, attractive decor and surroundings. It was so good, it felt like a dream. What more could one ask for? It's very good value, for what it is, too -- 3 courses (with selected cheeses for the third), each, with a shared side, a bottle of perfect rioja, and all the delectable little free extras, was £150, for two, with tip included, compared to £190 in similar establishments. We both had such a brilliant time here; we'll be back!

Took my girlfriend for her birthday. Looked fancy good reviews thought will be a great place for an occasion. Required to put 10 quid reservation. Fair enough. But when we arrived it was only 3 tables out of 20. Why the charge then?Ambience was cool, kind complaint, the manager was friendly. Staff should be trained better on the food they serve.Food. Menu is kind of confusing, using a lot of fancy words. That the staff does not know. Coming back to my rissoto. Said it has winter truffles, when served it came with fried garlic. When asked the waiter she immediately called the manager,who explained it was truffle oil. Well sir, be specific in your menu, because it felt like a rip off for the 35quid( starter + main).Ah duck breast was lovely though.Cocktails. Asked the waiter which cocktails have some special effect. She right away point out to the smoky one. Fair enough bring it over. She did no smoke and said oh sorry, the smoke machine did not work. Well darling how about you check it with the customer prior to bringing it over. Paid 13 quid for that .

Fantastic little restaurant that we just found by chance yesterday.Jamie and the rest of the staff made our special lunch, with an old friend really memorable. Delicious food, great atmosphere and service, would definitely recommend and return!!

Great cocktails, food, and service. Not much to fault! Loved sitting at the bar, only thing I would move is the bins that were in view. Otherwise couldn't fault it. The staff did not stop for the 2 and a half to 3 hours that we were there. Favourite course was either the beef main or stracciatella cheese cake. Cocktail to recommend is the summer fling! So fresh and zingy....we will return!

Excellent food and service. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor. Amazing seasonal food, great quality ingredients and decently priced!

Came here to celebrate my anniversary of becoming British. Just moved to the area so trying out the local restaurants.We had the set menu for lunch and everything was well cooked, tasty. Nice beer too!Location is nice and cool ambience.Some of my favourite dishes were:- Pressed chicken leg- Cantelope soup- pork with soy glaze- the sea bass

Zero complaints from our experience at No 97. Amazing value for the quality of the food and drink, loved the extra touches in between courses and v attentive service. Perfect date night venue. Will be back!
