PizzaExpress in Kingston upon Thames

Karlo greeted us with a polite warm welcome. Lovely window table, great aircon, prompt service, good food, spot on customer care. Karlo was working all alone both on the floor and in the bar along his female duty manager who was looking after take away orders. All managed to a perfection. Me and my daughter felt very welcomed and apreciated. Karlo is a true gem and Pizza Express should be really greateful to have someone like Karlo to represent you. Well done and thank you Karlo. See you soon again ....

After 22 and a half years my wife and I have been enjoying the Polo As Astra Pizza. Unfortunately in Saturday 11th if June we did not enjoy it at all. Pizza Express has changed supplier and the Pizzas don't taste half as good as they used to. Very very disappointed. Hopefully this review will be seen by the relevant department to improve things for the future.

Great pizza express, good value and delicious pizza. Been going here for years and love it. In my opinion better than the others in area. Service is really good too.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat. Both pizza's cooked perfectly, with a good quantity of the toppings. Drinks and food came out quickly and efficiently. Staff very pleasant. Improvement required on the coffee though!

Following an important event, we visited the restaurant and were met by Cecilia. She made an effort to organise a table for us. However, before we ordered anything, we had to leave. Cecilia was very understanding and her customer service was exceptional. I will be back purely because of Cecilia and her understanding.

Nice restaurant although was very noisy from upstairs when I was there. The food was nice but I have written to the Pizza Express head office about the size of the pizzas for vegans with a gluten free base, they are soooo much smaller is it actually discriminating again vegans, they should be the same size or offer 2 sizes. The difference is ridiculous. I know this is nothing to do with Pizza Express Kingston, it is a problem in every resturant and its not fair. I applaud them for catering for vegans and gluten intolerant people but they need to go the extra step to be perfect.The service was great and the resturant was nice so I do recommend it.

Lovely Pizza Express in Kingston oppositethe riverside. Service was great, as usual the atmosphere was cosy and with all the usual meals.Kids menu is great and the brownie with kids cappuccino super cute.Recommended for families, as well as friends.

Very warm restaurant (no apparent a/c). Placed in a seat in direct sunlight, we asked to move after 3 minutes as we were melting. Next couple comes in and they were place a the exact same table, same thing happens. Anyway, takes atleast 20+ minutes to be served (it wasn't that busy) and another 20+ for the food to arrive. Pizza was not bad but paying extra for a Romana (bigger base and more topping) doesn't seem worth it. Hardly any ham on it. I'd look elsewhere for a better Pizza in Kingston.

Pizzas are really good especially Sloopy guiseppe, buffalo mozzarella is delicious for starter, Vanilla Cheesecake is perfect ; service would be a bit faster :)
