A group of friends booked at this restaurant for a mid week lunch, which helped when splitting the bill evenly. We were offered a warm welcome and were given the normal menu. We had to request the set price menu which was great value.we agreed on all choosing from this menu as it made splitting the bill easy.. All 3 courses were excellent well presented, generous portions and very tasty. The service was efficient friendly and helpful. It added to the good atmosphere. There is a small tight car park at the rear of the restaurant also free of street parking nearby a return visit is very likely

I'm genuinely perplexed by the amazing reviews for the restaurant. Maybe we just had an unusually bad experience, but we found the restaurant disappointing. We made a short notice booking, and were told we could have the table for 1 hour 40 mins, which was absolutely fine, and we accepted. On arrival, we were asked what drinks we wanted before we had even removed our coats and sat down, with no drinks menu provided. Requested drinks menu, it did not arrive, so when the waitress came back to take the food order, I ordered a standard house wine.Food was fine. I ordered the seabass which was a very good size potion, but it comes with a choice of two sauces, I wasn't asked which one I wanted, and I forgot to state my preference on ordering, so obviously ended up with the sauce I did not want.We requested another drink during the meal, it did not arrive until we made a second request. We finished the mains half an hour before we were due to vacate the table. We sat for 25 minutes waiting for the plates to be cleared. We were not provided with or asked if we wanted a dessert menu, but the bill was brought to the table instead (we did not request it at that stage). At which point we decided to leave, feeling very under valued as customers.I do not enjoy providing less than great reviews for local restaurants, but on this occasion, I'm afraid the experience fell short.

Really lovely restaurant. I went for dinner and experienced a great atmosphere and great food. Witnessed some very awkward customers making an embarrassment of themselves and felt Rosa’ and the team handled it excellently which prompted me into writing this review.

Today, I decided to try out Festive menu at my local eatery....... for starters I had Nonna’s Arrosto(V) V(Roast vegetables, drizzled with pesto & honey topped with crunchy pine nuts) followed by Main course, which was Pesce del Giorno(Fresh fish of the day, then to top it all the waiter suggested I could have Desserts as well..... Who could resist a Cheese Cake.. followed by nice cup of Capuchin...... All came to £22.95p..... I think, this place is a bargain!

WORST MEAL IN A LONG TIME!!My family and I used to love this place, for both the food and the customer service, Unfortunately both have seriously declined! My partner and I went on a Friday night, it was not very busy but we were made to wait over 20 minutes to be asked if we would like to order. This was after we asked one waiter (who seemed to be doing everything while the others stood behind the bar) if we could order to which we were told " the boss lady will sort it". Our drinks did not take quite as long however the were completely flat and incorrect. The bread that came later was rock solid and then left on our very small table to take up more room, again i have to say the service was beyond disappointing. We went straight for the main, we ordered Veal which looked and tasted like cardboard wrapped in a soggy chicken nugget that had been overly microwaved, along side tomato spaghetti which taste like it had come straight from a tin and in to the microwave again! My partners steak was cold and and the chips were drenched in grease. The pictures we took actually make the food look better so don't be fooled. We asked for the bill and wanted to leave which is when the manager or 'boss lady' came over and asked what I expected the veal to be like, she was very passive aggressive and more annoyed that I didn't like the food rather than focusing on delivering a great service/ experience. We felt very uncomfortable and left immediately! The manager took the veal off the bill however I must say the whole experience was a mess from start to finish. I will never go back here again! Such a shame but the food was gross, the pictures actually make the food looks a lot better!

This Italian has a lovely feel and the waiters are so friendly. The food however was just ok. The calamari wasn't crispy and the risotto was watery and, although spicy, lacked the seafood flavour I was expecting. I guess they used frozen seafood. Also the first two Aperol Spritz we ordered were only half the glass with seemingly one shot. The third was full and tasted better. I'm not sure if I'd go back. Maybe the fish or grilled foods would be better but they'd need to be great for the prices charged.

Great for a friendly family meal or a romantic night out. This place has been open for over 25 years and continues to deliver tasty classic Italian food. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have an excellent wine list and the food is well-priced.We visited for a first holy communion and they could not have been more accommodating, putting on a drinks reception in the garden and then decorating our table.

This has been unchanged for years. Great flavours of traditional Italian dishes, with good portions and great friendly service. You can tell the staff love what they are doing.Happy to host an event too, adding lots of nice little touches.
