I went to Stein's yesterday with my parents for Father's Day and we had an amazing meal! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Giving a 5 star review as our server was so lovely - she was super attentive and made a great meal into a wonderful all round experience. I believe her name was Delani! We'll definitely be coming back to try some of the veggie options

This pub is a go to place when we have friends visiting. They serve great German food. The staff are super cool and dressed in Oktoberfest costume. They have seats facing the Thames, which is just wow. Good selection of food and drinks. They also have 'mass' beer as in Oktoberfest.. fun place overall

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Kingston! So great to see a German restaurant who does proper authentic food! Been coming here for years and had many many lovely meals out here…The restaurant itself is located by the river a little south of the main part of Kingston. The restaurant is also located right by the Rose Car Park so it’s easy to park close to the restaurant. The design of the restaurant is really homely and cozy, wooden panels and classic images from Germany, Austria and even Switzerland. Staff is very friendly and most even speak German, service is usually very good, though it can take longer when very busy, but this is understandable. The prices are fair as the portions are massive and German food anyway is filling, so you will leave the restaurant stuffed :)The food itself is truly delicious, authentic and a true taste of home. Nice big portions and quality ingredients. Proper German sausages and amazing beer, as to be expected. The desserts are also out of this world! Most people will go for a strudel but I would absolutely suggest the Kaiserschmarren… truly heaven on a plate, and once you try it you’ll want it again and again! All in all I will keep coming back here as much as I can, hands down one of my favourite restaurants!

Fantastic food, as usual, lovely service and good beer. But nearly £90 for a 2 mains “Pork shoulder and Munich sausages “+ 3beers and 2 glasses of wineWe understand rates of inflation are a bit high but we used to pay a lot less for what we had 🤷‍♂️It's one of my favourite spots in Kingston 🙏

Visited here a few times now. Great for lunch overlooking the river and also went for evening meal with friends. Friendly staff and restaurant felt cozy and relaxed. Heaters outside above tables for those colder evenings.

Excellent hosting and food is outstanding. The closest you can get to classic German food without booking a flight. Ordered the currywurst, farmers feast, a pint and a stein.

Been visiting steins for years, great food and beer. Top restaurant/pub in Kingston. Great for larger groups and offer a superb selection of beers on draught. One of the closest places you can get to a German beer hall in London. Sausages and schnitzels are amazing, as well as the apple pancakes. Personally I prefer Steins Kingston to the Richmond restaurant due to the larger menu choices

Wonderful German food, very nice interior, extensive menu.

Great to see this authentic German restaurant surviving through pandemic. Food was great, service a bit slow but understandable with challenges facing hospitality business. Very friendly staff and as expected great choice of German beers. There is a room upstairs with balcony Available for private parties. Needs to be booked in advance.
