I've been around a while and grew up near the coast so I definitely know good fish and chips.🍽I'd say this is the best I've tasted.Fresh good quality fish underneath the batter, well cooked, good value and they're really friendly too.Much better than getting some rubbish from the supermarket or McDonalds, just go here instead!

Normally amazing - generous portions, absolutely delicious fresh food and lovely staff.Not sure what has happened, but food was AWFUL! Soggy fish batter (with oil slick), a few under cooked chips and definitely no service with a smile - 'not my shop' was mentioned by staff more than once.Such a shame - this was my go to place for fish and chips. Won't be returning for quite a while.

This is the second time I have used this establishment and both times I have been very disappointed by the size of large plain chips. They are not large chips and for £4.30 I would expect more. I called the shop back about my views and they were not interested in what I had to say. I have used other shops and had bigger portions for at least £1 cheaper but I wanted to stay local to help the trade👎 Never again.Take your money and go somewhere else.

A consistently good no nonsense fish and chip shop. Have been coming here for years. I try others every now and again but always return to find this is still better. Fresh food and also a good lunch time deal.

Both eat-in and takeaway facilities are here. Staff are very nice and polite. Unbelievably cheap. Seriously, this is the most reasonable fish and chips place I've ever dined in.

Chips and cheese was covered in a wrapping so cheese was stuck to paper. Not edible.Gravy was powdered gravy made with too much water making it the consistency of a glass of coloured water. Not edible.Pie was heated in the micro for too long so was rock solid. Not edible.Called them to complain and they said the food was bad because they're under new management. When I asked why are they still charging premium rates (£1.65 for a small tub of powdered gravy) when they know the food is bad, he laughed and said to call deliver for a refund and that was it.AVOID AVOID AVOID

Called in advance and placed our order. We have my beautiful mother and father in law staying with us who treated us to a take away from our local fish and chip shop. We had an awesome chicken, two tasty steak and kidney pies, a huge fish and three portions of chips. We also added mushy pies and curry sauce. As I write this, my mother in law just said they're the best mushy peas she had for a while 😊Staff were very friendly, the restaurant is clean and tidy and as we ordered over the phone we had hardly to wait. There is also off street parking nearby should you need to drive.You can also eat in with chairs and tables provided 👍👍👍
