Very disappointed, been comming here for years and always used to be the go to place in Kingston, however sadly I have to agree that the owner is rude and lacks basic customer service skills. Also had the Saunders salad and the precooked chicken escalope had been microwaved making it very chewy and inedible. Shame really.

I’d give it a zero but one star is the lowest. After 40 minutes, my veggie breakfast still hadn’t arrived so I asked a member of staff to check on it. 10 minutes later, they hadn’t returned to update me on my order so I asked for the manager. She comes and tells me that my food isn’t on the way because they didn’t put it through. GREAT. My partners food was cold at this point and we had to ask for both to be made fresh. Another 20 minutes later, our food comes out but my order is wrong so I don’t enjoy my meal at all. At this point, I had no energy left in me to complain so I just left my food on the plate. No member of staff came to check on us or showed the slightest hint of caring. We’d paid before hand so they’d already taken our money. We also saw at least five other tables complain and saw another woman ask for a refund. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and I’d go as far to say ‘DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME VISITING’!

The.post pandemic era has really taken its toll on this place, with the concept of loyalty now up for debate. My partner had a loyalty card with ten stamps. She normally uses it for the more expensive hot drink and there is never an issue. However, today she was forced to use the card to pay for the cheapest drink and also told that you now have to pay elxtra for alternative milk becaus “the till said so”.We have been coming to this place for over 7 years, and while the lady behind the till has often been rude and dismissive, her attitude in this situation was appaling.Loyalty has well and truly been lost here, I will never be coming back.

An overrated eatery by all the reviews before. No customer service, very bland dry food, took 25 minutes to heat up a frozen sandwich sent back, they charge for a pot of tea which never materialise as there are "no pots". Rude and arrogant owner/ manager who never even had the decency to say that they got it wrong. After sitting for one hour I simply left. The trick is they take all the money upfront so there is no complaints or refunds. Terrible place that should be stayed away from. Positive: huge portions of whatever

Fantastic breakfasts with a bustling vibe.I've got a big appetite but the veggie breakfast left me full for the rest of the day. I really liked the avocado and spinach with it.My wife had the avocado and egg on toast with an extra of halloumi, which she thought was an excellent combo. Our mates had one of the full English and an egg on toast and both thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely come here again when back in Kingston.

The best egg Benedict in town, the food is tasty and high quality. However, I didn’t feel welcomed here. The owner seem unfriendly and the prices are very high.

Really fantastic coffee. The best I've had in Kingston to be frank! The cakes are great too but not cheap. The decor is quite nice in a monochrome kinda way. Just a bit too bright if you're looking for something cosy ..

Wow, The Hot Salt Beef Sandwich was Amazing. Hot Salt Beef with Pickles and Mustard on Brown Granary Bread. I added Sauerkraut and Melted Emmental Cheese. We finished our lunch by sharing a piece of Carrot Cake which was delicious. The coffee is good too. We will definitely be back to try more of the Menu on our next trip to Kingston.

They open from 7 but breakfast menu starts from 8AM.However they have an amazing selection of sandwiches from early hours, all of them really tasty and well sized. The coffee is nice and tasty, plus there is also good choice of juices made per order.Email downside though, I think the eat-in food prices is are tad expensive, nearly 30% extra.

One of my favourite cafes in Kingston. The best place to go for quality brunch, fresh juice or a frappé at a good price. Their pancakes are always fluffy and tasty. Their staff are also lovely. I highly recommend stopping by!
