The Chessington Oak in Kingston upon Thames

They don't do food till 17:00 pm which is a bit of a farsh.And they don't seem to be friendly towards outsiders?A gentleman bought a drink but brought his own food and they asked him to leave lol, even though he bought a drink from the venue...

I have to say the food was delicious and very good value. we went there again and the food was delicious staff nice and friendly

Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs.Booked a table for my family online expecting a restaurant but this was just a pub that did a bit of food on the side. No seating or table service and ordering at the bar risked encounters with the drunk patrons propping it up. Limited menu reduced further by half the items on it not being available. No steaks, fish or fajita so the only thing sizzling was me when I walked out without ordering.

Amazing!After a long day out with family and friends we came here for dinner.The service was outstanding , we were a table of 10 on a Saturday evening with young children and the staff were incredible especially the woman who was serving us. Not only did she bring the children's meals out first, she got them all some colouring bits to do. My son has a peanut allergy and this is the first place we have been where we got to read all the ingredients first to make sure we were happy he would be safe and all his food/cutlery and preparation was done separately and cleaned down on its own so there was no risk of contamination. She whent above and beyond what we expected. The food was amazing and the value was incredible!We live over 45 minutes away and are already planning on coming over again for a lunch as it was just such a lovely place.I would highly recommend this for anyone, especially young family's as the staff and atmosphere for a pub on a Saturday evening was amazing.To the woman who served us all, you were just so lovely and we can't wait to come back and see you soon, you really could see you loved your job and wanted the best for your customers.Thank you again for a wonderful evening.

Lovely food, staff are really friendly. Would have given 5 stars had the dessert portion had been a bit bigger 😉

Perfect! Stopped by for some dinner on the way home from Chessington and well what can I say the food was amazing, yummy and fast. Such a nice atmosphere and the staff were so polite.

Tried to visit week before but car park was full so returned another day , sizzling skillets , lovely food , service was great, it was just very cold in the pub, food warmed us up though and even stayed for dessert. Well done to the chef and server .

Amazing experience at the Chessington Oak. It was our first time here (I visited with me sister) and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food (we had the buttermilk chicken stacks with and without katsu sauce, loaded potato skins with cheese and bacon and SFC wings with Korean-style BBQ sauce). The service was fantastic and is overall great value for your money. Would definitely come again, thank you for a great evening!

1st pint of a 3 day stag do for dilly, been coming here on and off for more years than I can remember. Its still the Black's too me...hurry up lads

We have lived near this pub for nearly 14 years. We've seen it rise and dip unfortunately. Thanks to new staff, this pub has certainly picked it's feet up... both of them! It is now clean, very reasonably priced, well managed, has attentive staff and the food was very good. We're impressed. Keep up the good work guys!
